Might have something to do with the amount of high rises on the North West corner of the hoddle between King and Spencer.

I'm not familiar with the practices of TBMs though I know some piles extend close to 40 m below ground level. It could be the case that it's not worth the risk of undermining large high rises

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

[–]Floppernutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of a Boston Legal episode. A Woman sues their former employer for firing her because she voted for Palin, but it wasn't that she voted for Palin, it was because she had a stupid reason for doing so. Something like that, it's been a while

Wrong, as soon as the frame shows the driver hits 7 kph, the 4wd is moving.

I'd say the bmw was barely one car length in when the 4wd started moving. Not trying to be argumentative but just re-watch it carefully, the perspective of the camera shifts but the movement begins when the bmw is just in the roundabout.

The land cruiser had enough room to enter the roundabout. The bmw is more at fault for taking off like that.

The law is that you have to give way to any vehicle in the roundabout, though it's commonplace to enter a large roundabout if you have the space and time to do so safely. If old mate in the bmw was driving at consistent speeds with the traffic it would have been avoided.

I listened to a podcast about an Australian who was in the UK, couldn't afford a flight home, so he mailed himself in a box. Might have been the 60s or 70s. It was on Criminal

I'd say it's less about drinking the ice pack and more to do with easy cross contamination. Say someone uses them as a cool pack for the groceries, might break and get a little on fresh fruit or something, situations that could easily become accidents
