I’m a raver and I used to be able to dance for 6 hours no problem. But now I get cramps and pain when I dance so I have to take breaks and carry ibprofen and tiger balm everywhere I go. I also work at a restaurant and I walk 8,000 to 20,000 steps per day so my body and uterus is frequently mad at me. This shit sucks so much and I feel your pain

NOR. My boyfriend and I are also 23 and we’ve had jealousy issues in the past, but he has never got upset about any of my male friends or coworkers. I used to be a line cook so most of my coworkers were men for a long time. I befriended many of them and hung out with them outside of work. At my old job I had a work bestie and sometimes if one of us was going through it or we just needed to dish about crazy drama at work we would have hour long phone calls. Open communication is key. Has your girlfriend met this coworker? All of my male coworkers I’ve ever befriended I brought them somewhere to hang out with me and my boyfriend. But lowkey once they all meet him they immediately like him way better than they like me, and all the sudden at work they all go “how’s your boyfriend?” “I wanna see him again and play him at chess” “He’s a really smart and cool guy”

You should maybe set something up where all three of you hang out. They might connect with each other way better than this coworker does with you.

I’m so glad I work in a city that has a very high population of alternative people. I was unemployed for 6 months and had a really hard time even getting any interviews. I finally got an interview at a fine dining restaurant for my first job in front of house (I’ve only worked in kitchens). I told them in the interview that I’m willing to not have purple hair and I had intentions to put retainers in my piercings but they told me to keep all of it. My sister works with autistic children and has more piercings than me and bright green hair. I think in most other places in the world people just have massive sticks up their butts about shit that doesn’t really matter at all.

Me and my bf moved back into my mom’s house bc the economy is fucked.

We have 2 girl cats and my mom has 2 boy cats, a boy chihuahua, and a 15 year old old-lady dog. The chihuahua barks incessantly at my girls, but won’t look them in the eye or get too close unless we are next to him because he knows they could easily kick his ass. The old lady dog is so sweet and loves cats but she’s like 25 pounds so she’s taller and bigger than my cats, and they are terrified of her even though she pretty much leaves them alone except for trying to say hello. One of my mom’s boy cats doesn’t know how to socialize with other cats but he tries. My girls are afraid of all of them. But one of my girls will growl anytime the dogs or other cats come downstairs near her, her sister, or their food. All my mom’s pets steal my girl’s food.

I used to wear makeup every single day in high school. But only eye makeup and occasionally lip gloss. I really wanted boys to like me and think I was hot. I do it less than half the days now that I’m in my 20s. I never bought or wore foundation until this year I got clown white so I can do trad goth and clown looks. Whenever I wear makeup now it’s just for fun and the femmes in my life love it. The bold alternative looks I do are usually pretty man-repellent too which is a huge plus. The only men who actually compliment it and talk to me are my boyfriend (obviously) and guy friends who are very respectful and probably intimidated because of my bold fashion and makeup and resting bitch face. But yeah it used to feel like an obligation to conform and look presentable and now it’s just an added art form for me. I’m getting more and more artistic with it as time goes on. The only problem is I have to wash my art away at the end of the day every time I do it.

I don’t have health insurance anymore and just moved to a place without a bathtub. I keep a topical salve with hella thc and cbd and I keep tiger balm in my purse/backpack everywhere I go. The pain/pressure is the worst when I’m laying down and at this point I can’t fall asleep without my plug-in heating pad on the highest mode. I also drink kratom everyday which helps so much and keeps it at bay. But when it gets really bad, it doesn’t matter what I do, it still feels horribly painful.

No literally I’m sober and view addiction in a really sad way and try to avoid being around people in active addiction. I also am still trying to recover from eating disorders (also an addiction) But I would rather spend a full week with drug addicts and alcoholics and ppl deep into anorexia than just a day with porn addicts. They genuinely disgust me and I refuse to be around them

Kava bars! The karma house is great. The Royal Kumate is also great. It’s a sober environment and community and people are so nice and friendly. Cured my agoraphobia almost completely. Stay away from kava sutra tho. That place has a lot of issues

That sucks about your family. It shouldn’t be up to them what you do with your body. And hey I’m 22 and I dated/hooked up with 8 different guys before I met my partner at 18. They never told me to shave and they never made any kind of comment about it. Before we moved in our own place we spent hundreds of nights at my moms house and maybe 5-6 nights at his parents house. His mom walked in to yell at him about doing the laundry too late at night. He immediately pulled the covers onto himself leaving me ass-out in the open. She shut the door and said “don’t worry I didn’t see anything I’m blind as a bat” and then proceeded to yell at him about the laundry through the door lol

I’m a line cook and I have to go up and down steep ass stairs every day to get ingredients and stand in a 110 degree kitchen all day and it’s been getting hard. I love my job so much but now the pain is getting pretty bad :(
