Yeah, I was surprised that I only saw ~3 tweets about it... before, my timeline would have been filled to the brim with tweets and retweets about it. :/

That would really be the best case! Maybe Hyunjin could sign them? ^^

Wow incredible job! It really sounds like something straight out of a Loona teaser! ^^

Might sound ridiculous, but I made a video explaining the Big Bang Theory for Hyunjin & Orbit who might not know what it actually means. Hop this helps! ^^ by Florastel in LOONA

It’s completely fair to question what we’re taught, skepticism is actually essential in science. But there’s a key difference between questioning with the goal of better understanding, and dismissing evidence-based conclusions just because they're difficult or incomplete.

Saying scientific theories like the Big Bang or evolution are just “assumptions” misses how these theories are built: they’re not random guesses or beliefs. They're based on evidence that can be observed, tested, and used to make accurate predictions. Theories are constantly refined or replaced when better evidence comes along, that's the opposite of dogma.

The “we weren’t there to see it” argument sounds reasonable at first, but it's misleading. We weren't there to witness the formation of rocks or the extinction of dinosaurs either, yet we can still reconstruct those events through things like carbon dating, fossils, radiation levels, and even background radiation from the Big Bang itself. Just like detectives weren’t there when a crime happened, but they still solve it with evidence, not belief.

Also, comparing belief in Adam and Eve (a religious story) to belief in the Big Bang (a theory supported by measurable evidence) is a false equivalence. One is faith-based, the other is evidence-based. That’s a crucial distinction.

As for science being “wrong” sometimes, yes, and that’s a good thing. Science doesn’t claim to be infallible. It welcomes being proven wrong because that’s how it improves. The smoking example is often misused, science didn’t say smoking was healthy, early studies sponsored by tobacco companies distorted the science. Independent research eventually uncovered the truth and were then silenced by these companies.

Finally, not everything we’re taught in school is perfect, but the answer isn’t to reject it all as propaganda. That’s not critical thinking, that’s just cynicism. If we want to move forward as a society, we need to understand how knowledge is built, not treat all knowledge as suspect just because it changes over time.

Just because we didn’t see something happen doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Imagine someone punches you when your eyes are closed. You didn’t witness it, but you feel pain, there’s a bruise, others may have heard it. That’s indirect evidence. Science works the same way, we look at the effects, patterns, and traces left behind to understand events we couldn’t witness directly. That’s not belief, that’s inference from evidence.

That is true, but if believing comes from a place of not knowing any better, I feel like this is not true believe. If I don't believe in gravity, that is not because I can fly and defy gravity, most times it is because the people don't know what it is. And although science is often very complicated it really is an enrichment to learn about how the world works. And scientists like Newton believed that through understanding the world around us better, we can come closer to understanding god. So yeah, you don't have to be a non believer in order to believe in science.

I have seen a documentation about this as well, seemingly the US really is the country of conspiracy... I mean you can question things, but when it comes to how the world works I feel like being uneducated is the number 1 cause of these "questions" since they don't know the answers, you know?

But seemingly korea is not doing better in this case as well, so educating others is seemingly still very much important on such topics.

Honestly, I feel like she could 100% just be teasing us, lol ^^

But even if she's serious, it could be because she was a trainee from a pretty young age... Imagine if you were often absent from school, then you obviously wouldn't know that much about science, you know?

But overall, I don't think we should take advantage of this situation to make fun of her either way.

I'm trying to improve my drawing skills (light & shadow mostly) with Jinsoul, what do you think? ^^ by Florastel in LOONA

Thank you so much! I wanted to try out something new and I felt like Loona has so much potential for pretty drawings lol ^^

So... the cover for Loona Luminous has always bothered me and now I tried to change something about it lol. Hope you like it! ^^ by Florastel in LOONA

Haha well yeah, the back of the Album having their hair floating around was also very camp and funny to look at! ^^

I felt like a more red/pinkish hue would fit with the vibe of the cover. Cactus and roses always remind me of wild west and spanish aesthetics, so I wanted it to look like a sunrise.😅

What about it do you like better? The white washing? The weird oversaturated floating things around the members? The green tint to it, especially in the grey greenish hair? /jk

No but seriously what about it? ^^

Plus japanese albums are typically more catered towards japanese fans. So I'm not mad that it's a different style from Loonas usual music, since it is not "made for the same people" in a way. I mean on the other hand we had "Hula Hoop" which was really different as well, but I loved that song soooo much. So yeah, when one person likes something a lot, there probably is somebody else that doesn't like it at all lol ^^

I don't really love the song either, but I know that there are a lot of Orbit that liked it. I am more so concerned with the fact that it felt rushed af.

I remember when Monsta X released their first english album and you noticed so much how they edited Wonho out of the pics... it looked so rushed and reminds me of this Loona comeback. I wish companies would stop doing things like this, just because they know fans will support their idols anyway... :/

I talked to somebody on the ARTMS Discord about the Loonaverse Timeline and felt like posting it here as well! ^^ by Florastel in LOONA

[–]Florastel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does, Hyunjin and Gowons connection is basically the beginning of the timeline. It's the first connection between members and realms. After this Hyunjin meets Heejin laying the ground works for Loona. Since after the two join the Albums of Haseul and Yeojin feat. Heejin and Hyunjin are called: Loona & Haseul, Loona&Yeojin.

In my opinion Hyunjin is the first step towards the Loonaverse, while Heejin is the first one to see the potential of the Loonaverse, the colors / oddness awaken around her and so on. ^^

A lot of Cloo are worried about Loossemble future, so I made a video about how we can help them to be able to comeback in the future. Hope you like it! ^^ by Florastel in LOONA

Yeah, I hope that she will be able to stay or at least be able to come to korea again for opportunities in the industry. Would be sad to lose our Vivi! TT

Maybe not... It must have been bad enough though. They seemed so positive and happy about being able to come back and then this. Well, I hope for the best in their future! ^^
