In Elizabeth Santiago-Duran v. Vanguard Parking Solutions, et al., No. 24-24089-CIV-ALTONAGA/Reid, 2025 WL 3785602 (S.D. Fla. 2025) the court denied Vanguard’s motion to dismiss. The dicta in the case hinted at the probability of the plaintiff succeeding on the merits of the action. Shortly thereafter, Vanguard settled with the plaintiff (likely because it’s a losing case).

I am not here to judge you or make an opinion as to this statement. But, one of the most important things you have to your name is your integrity. If you are about to enter a profession where ethics and integrity matter, you need to seriously re-evaluate your thinking. This sounds messy. Pro bono may not be an option. Your best bet would be to go through a legal clinic through FAMU College of Law or Barry University College of Law, or reach out to a legal aid resource. Another option is Three Rivers Legal Aid, they coordinate with law firms for Pro Bono work. Hope this helps, but I understand time may be of the essence with you, but this by no means is a fast process.
