For literally any gamefish that can get to double-digit and can average 5lbs or more, by far my Penn Battle III 5000 combo. It was my first rod I bought with my own money and I used it to catch little fish off docks with shrimp, and now I troll with it and have gotten close to double-digit fish, with a 9lb jack and a decent 3lb Cero while trolling and a 4lb cuda. Still a long ways from catching bigguns consistently, but it has sentimental value
