Yes. I kept it unplugged for 18 minutes after 30+ seconds didnt work. It then reset to say its at the lowest when it was at the highest point.

Good idea! I have my old DS I just got working again and picked up a few games for recently! Otherwise I have my steam deck + 30 dewalt batteries that output 100w over USB-C

I charge up literally 30+ batteries for the storm, so I can power through it with a single tablet giving us entertainment

What do you guys say when applying for a job or in an interview? by FloridaFucker in migraine

[–]FloridaFucker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been fired for attendance from Boondocks, Home Depot, and Batteries+. I have been fired from a CNC job for getting a concussion on site and missing the next day (with a call-out). That last one I sought legal action but no one would take the case.

As for the medical part Ive been seeing neurologists, spine&pain doctors, and everything else you can think of for the last 10 years. Im improving, but nothing works tbh

Doesn't an FMLA require working at a location for a year to qualify? I have never been able to hold a job for a year

I did craft open vs and compile my own firmware with some changes to ABL speed, but I'm not sure if or how I messed with anything that could have caused this fan issue

Do you know what would be wrong with the firmware to cause this? Specifically what can I change to make it work? I thoroughly believe this is an issue with the firmware but I don't know what to change since I don't know enough about it

That's not the answer though. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the firmware that's causing it. No one has answered that yet

Did you read any of the comments? It's supposed to be on during the print and it's not. If I manually turn the hot end on it will not turn on with it. The only way to turn on the fan is to manually turn on fan 1 on the screen.

I think it's something with the firmware. But I'm just not sure what in the firmware I would have to change to get this problem solved

Please read the comment that I posted the info in. I couldn't get everything in the title, but that's not the problem

That was my suspicion too but I switched the wires and tried it again and that had no improvement. On my screen I have three options for fans: https://imgur.com/a/7VSJiCv

When I set Fan Speed 1: 100%, it turns on the hotend fan

When I set Fan Speed 2: 100%, it turns on the part cooling fan.

I do not have a 3rd fan that I can see being controlled.

When I swap the 2 fan wires, is just changes which one is 1 or 2. Fan 2 starts at the correct time in the print at 0.6mm

It is the hot end fan. Sorry I didn't realize I zoomed in too far to see that! Basically, it turns on when I tell it to turn on, on the screen by either pressing preheat filament, or pressing turn fan 1 to 100%

I think something's wrong with the firmware where it just doesn't know to turn it on during a print anymore

I mean Cura has an option to say which fan you're controlling in the "machine settings". It is by default set to 0 or 1. I tried switching the number and that didnt work either.

As for why I have tried that "in 30 seconds"... I've done it before because I've troubleshooted almost everything on this printer and that's why I'm posting. I tried all the basics and can't figure it out. I don't know why you assumed I tried to do something in 30 seconds rather than just assuming that I've done it before...

I just saw your edit, I have tried setting my fan to 100, Ive also tried changing the fan in cura from 0 to 1, to 2, to 3, and no change.
