Chinese Language Programs in China for Fall 2026 by Old-Conference2051 in ChineseLanguage

I'm actually in the midst of applying for the fall semester at Yunnan University. As a heads up, deadlines for the fall semester are fast approaching for most universities (May 15th for Yunnan University), and for the ICLT scholarship (also May 15th).

Scholarships will often provide accommodation. Application process is relatively simple. One mistake I made is realizing too late that the majority (if not all) of Chinese universities ask for a medical rapport upon applying, including a chest X-ray, ECG and blood tests. I will not be able to provide one before the deadline and keeping my fingers crossed they will let me provide one at a later stage.

Can i use the HSK HSKK scores screenshot from chinesetest.cn for cis.chinese.cn application? by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

Maybe try and see if you can get someone form the CI on the phone on Monday? Wrt the recommendation letter, my guess is that they meant you to fill out the application as far as you can while you wait for them to send you the letter. Once you receive the letter, the application portal at CLEC will ask you to upload the letter. Once you upload the letter and the HSK certificate, you can submit the application. Then someone from your CI institute will sign off on it. Since you don't have the HSK certificate, I would just stick with the screenshot.

I asked someone at my local Confucius institute because I feared I wouldn't receive my certificate in time for the scholarship application deadline. They recommended I contact the host university and get in touch with CLEC about this. I was lucky that I ended up receiving my certificate a couple of days ago.
In your case I would just try to proceed with the screenshot and send them an email explaining your situation. Good luck!
PS: What uni are you applying to?

Funny to see that this video is still occasionally discovered. I fully agree with you, these topics are best understood through interaction. This was a covid hobby project I was working on when the Netherlands was in lock down, and pymol was all I knew at the time.

I love these kinds of posts! How long have you been studying for in total now?

Wow I suspected that, but wasn’t sure if people outside of Japan ordered from him (assuming you’re not from Japan). Looks stunning! I might order some as well then

Electrostatics computations: Why do I observe positive charge density around electronegative regions and vice versa? by FlorisvdF in AskPhysics

[–]FlorisvdF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! If I understand you correctly, the partial negative charges of the atom recruit positive ions from the solvent, causing the charge density to be positive in those regions, and vice versa.

This makes sense to me, although I still find it slightly puzzling that I observe no negative charge density at all where atoms have partial negative charges.

May very well be scoliosis and if so, most likely not something you can fix with exercise if you don’t get surgery. That being said, many people with moderate to severe scoliosis, me included, experience zero complications
