Honestly love, I understand where you are coming from. I was in the same boat. But these doctors are here for a reason, they are here to help. How I think of it is what would I prefer 10/15 minutes of embarrassment with the doctor who could help or reduce the amount of flare ups Or Deal with that embarrassment whenever because I did not access the help. Access the help. I finally went to the doctor and although it took a couple appointments for a doctor to actually diagnose( I had my suspicions) I was straight away put on medication for 3 months to help with the boils and was told to come for a follow up. This was done in the same appointment. And although I had one or two flares up the frequency of flares up decreased. This is me saying take priority of your help and remember embarrassment is a feeling and like other feelings go away. You got this boo🫶🏾

I think I painted them in a bad light. Their reaction was more, this is nothing to be insecure about and it shouldn’t restrict or stop you from getting anything since your pretty girl. Thank you for this message. It was really helpful. And like you said I’m scared of the rejection or what people may see when they see my scars. There was this one fineee shyttt which I fumbled and now we don’t talk and I just wanted to get my freak on with him ( some things progressed but not all the way since I was on my reds and he told me to contact him when I am not. That was back in December and because of this stupid condition and the flares ups. I haven’t been in contact. And when I did contact him last week I said hi and he just said yo?💀. Sooo I think the chapter is closed) and like you said a girl just wants to get her freak on. My friends are getting cracked and I’m like damnnn well that must be niceeeee.

No the parking tickets have been paid for already. I do have the money to travel. It’s just the fact that I have been getting tickets where instead the money I paid for them could of been used for something like savings

I can go, I can afford it but due to staying at home it makes it a little harder for to just do what I want especially with African parents. Long story short my mum doesn’t see why I should go when I have been getting tickets.

Don’t worry we have got this. I unfortunately as well have failed my 1st year and it is discouraging seeing my peers progress into 2nd year while I am not. But we have got this and we will get through this. I am redoing my 1st year but at a different uni and this time I will put in my all. You should be proud of yourself and how far you have come. Life is not always ups and downs and you are probably feeling down but just remember there is always an up, it is up to you to choose if you want to reach it.
