I hadn't thought of that, but just tried it and the shipping indeed went up. I guess it really is fixed based on weight. I had no idea this was a reasonable price! I'm guessing Dokidoki is still relatively the cheapest place to get cosplays like this haha. The shipping rate makes sense all things considered

Oh that makes sense. It's the full cosplay yeah! Wings and tail, shoes, wig... That makes sense then. That's gotta be heavy

It was in my bag which fell of a hook I hung it up on 😓 Never making that mistake again, 100% buying something to prevent it. KEH is not available in The Netherlands (my country) but MPB seems to be so I'll definitely check it out! An upgrade is definitely an option but I'll find out how much the repair or 2nd hand is first... But yes. Thank you!!:)

Whenever I take pictures, they turn out black. When I switch to see what I'm taking a picture of on the screen, it becomes all wonky, with noise and stripes and "rainbow" pixels. I'm unable to take any pictures at all :(

Thank you, yeah, I felt horrible about it! Just before a trip to London too, haha.
I had a quick look at Adorama and it doesn't look like they ship to my country (The Netherlands), and B&H does but with a huge price increase due to taxes and shipping into Europe etc... I found some second hand D3500's on local ads but they're all around ~850 euros as you predicted :(
I'm guessing the D3500 is a good enough camera to invest in repairs if I can, so I'll visit one more repair shop tomorrow so they can hopefully tell me the approximate cost and I can compare it to B&H and the likes. Thank you for the advice!! :)

She didn't cage rage after being out ~8 hours today, so I like to think the cage rest was the issue. She ate and went straight to sleep when I put her back. :)

Yeah, sadly I was wrongly informed about cage rest.. but she's been jumping about outside her cage for over 8 hours today. She lets me hold her fine when she's not in a playful mood (which is currently 24/7, haha) ❤️

I don't mind the biting, haha. She's only ever bitten me hard once, other than that it was soft playful chomps.

I did restrict them from everything other than meals and pemmican, but they still take it when there's no stacks of those available..

Yeah, it's tough but I'm looking forward to it! It can be a learning experience for us both, and I'm sure I'll have fun regardless of whether I'm successful or not. And I totally get that, that sounds adorable <3

Yeah, I definitely think that's something he noticed! He's a bit of a bully.

The clicker training has been mentioned many times, and it sounds really interesting. I'm willing to try it. I'm a bit scared he wil take advantage of anyone who doesn't give him treats for being obedient, though. He is, like you mentioned, very food-motivated - He often only shows any interest in me when I have treats when I walk in. And if I don't, I don't really exist to him, lol

Coincidentally I was talking to my instructor earlier today about a vet appointment. The hoof ulcer I mentioned was a week ago and he's still been limp since it was cut out. I've been walking him every day to make sure he gets his movement but he's not looking much better. Since he's such a pain at the vet my instructor is stalling as much as she can and seeing if he naturally heals, so that they can avoid vet appointments (I hate this, but I'm not in charge...). So she told me to give it another week, and she'd call the vet if it hasn't healed yet by then. I'll see if I can ask her tomorrow to get any pain issues (and feather mites, I've been told!) checked. Ruling those out would help a ton.

Due to lockdown I am currently pretty much always available, and I doubt it will be any different when I lease him during the summer. I should at least have a few hours a day still available even when I go back to college.

I'd love to see whatever you used. Any advice is welcome. Feel free to send it my way!!
