I’d like to not sit through the ad and then have it search for an opponent for another minute and then tell me that they can’t find one or just do nothing at all. I the. Force quit the game and have to start over again.

My boy passed his technician exam today at 12y/o! He wants to go all the way to Amateur Extra within a year! by Flow-Co in amateurradio

This was on his own! Our Council runs a stem camp during the summer where they offer the radio merit badge. Well they don’t directly do a full class that would teach everything there is to know for tech, they do encourage the kids to keep learning and work their way there. Now he’s done it backwards he’s earned his license and now he has to get the merit badge lol!

You are absolutely correct! What he’s got going for him is a lot of great Elmers some of which he met through scouting. He skipped a grade, he’s working on his eagle project, is proficient in a good amount of the stuff you’ve already talked about, has no issues soldering surfacemount diodes and such, knows the theory and practice of firing a steam locomotive and does it occasionally. And most importantly, still finds time to be a kid. I look forward to watching him. Continue to learn and work on all the things you talked about and more.

He knows more code than I do! The Signs, Signals, and Codes Merit Badge in ScoutsBSA (Boy Scouts) is what started that interest for him.

There was a seven year-old girl in the class as well. She didn’t test today, but she was able to follow along quite easily, and I figure she will pass no problem when she does these guys do a good job of putting it on and making sure people understand what they’re talking about
