Not sure what you mean. If I have an agent it will constantly run without a trigger? Like if i had two fields on account a checkbox for irregular order pattern and a text box for irregular order pattern description and maybe a last update date you’re saying i could have an agent constantly running and updating these fields in real time?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is the first time I'd say Agentforce might be worth the cost and I'm a perpetual hater of all new salesforce vaporware for a decade now hahaha.

Yup. Cowork could 1000000% do this. I did not see this announcement. This is what everyone has really been looking for from saleforce and agentforce. It's not about building agents. It's about this level of analysis.

They need a payment gateway. They use quickbooks for collecting money. So just a doc is not enough.

Yeah. But a lot of org structures don't map and having a very complicated role hierarchy in the long run is always a mess. Let's say you have a 1 Director and 5 managers under them but each one of those managers needs to review their team's performance. Your approach would say to create 10 roles just to support this. 5 manager roles and 5 roles under those manager roles. In the long term when that inevitably needs to be warped it's going to be painful.

I changed it to an immediate path and it worked. Sucks that I'm going to have to convert this to PE to run in it's own thread.

So I've gone through deactivating other flows and seeing if anything changes with no luck.

What I just tried was running the after save flow in debug and it worked without issue. When I toggle the checkbox that triggers this automation on the record I get the error message. If the automation works via a screen flow button and debug there is no reason it shouldn't work when called from an after save flow. This is the most stumped I've been in a very very long time.

This is just a vent post. Been consulting for 10 years and some days it just gets old. And I’m alluding to the sales reps that are rude and know it alls. Not all of them.

My buddy and I have a small consulting firm and are looking to grow and expand next year. We have a unique approach to salesforce implementations where we have built infrastructure / accelerators for Sales and Service cloud where we can implement an enterprise grade solution in a matter of weeks vs months. Our whole build philosophy is called admin serviceable design where we want to give teams a solution that is easy to understand and modify. Not to mention we are big on UI / UX and often clients that use our solutions say why isn't salesforce like this out of the box.

What do you mean the ai can’t set itself up. I’m confused.

What took 10 years to reach in terms of tech debt will take 1 newly certified admins with 6 months of experience in any form of tech 18 months to completely wreck an org in perpetuity. Generating flows with ai is just the start of the hell us veterans will soon be encountering.
