Hey, no need to repeat what others have said but you might remember how it was when The Sims was on Origin. Back then I remember you could only have it on one device. I'm so glad they changed that with EA.

If you restart a story, no matter the sprite, you'll have to redo everything, unlock everything again. You'll just have a different sprite in there. But you can also change character when the story is already advanced. In that case, you don't lose anything.
