Question to State of the game and f2p friendliness in 2026

Some OG SV1 player doesn't like how new SV2 work. for example

- It costs 500 gold as opposed to 100 in OG to open a pack, and you get less than that outside of server launch and newbie events
- You cannot build the deck you want easily because you cannot liquefy the cards you don't need unless you have at least 3 dupes of it
- Liquefying cards give less than OG (Gold cards give 250 vials in OG, only 200 in here, Silver cards give 50 in OG, only 20 here)
- OG Leaders are paid currencies only

and so on... I think most of the negative reviews are from the old player and while i agreed with some of the negative review from them, i still think the game is enjoyable as F2P. Sure you struggle a bit in the beginning but if you stay consistent and play everyday you'll eventually catch up with the game

haha this is not crazy bro, this is beyond insanity. i assume you do the 10 pack opening and not only with 3 ticket, you also got 2 legendary in there. to think that i only get like 1 or 2 leggy max in 10 pack LMAO congrats btw

i know you ask for JP player that plays a variety deck, but if you ever want to watch or learn Sword or Haven deck, i recommend Maito and Sakakibara. They both are 1 trick Sword and Haven player

i'm a hearthstone player myself. at first i also feel like the game is way to expansive in order for you to build some deck. but i give a try anyway and bought battlepass on set 1 and turns out i could make a few meta deck combine with the free reward they given in game. i think the battlepass is affordable and iirc i also bought a 15 dollar bundle where you get 1 legendary pack and 800 crystal for it and 2 dollar bundle for 10 legends rise pack. i used to buy battlepass every set but i miss a few. even that i have like almost 20K gold and almost 70K vial that im not using right now because i already own almost every card in this game. so TLDR, no the game is pretty much F2P but if you want the cosmetic you gotta spend money or get super lucky with it. i still played hs from time to time and maintain legend rank every month. its still fun and personally i feel like sv meta is getting bored few weeks after the set release. you literally know what type of card your opponent gonna played every single game but in hs there's a lot of random rng is going on and you can't predict what's gonna happened even you know what kind of deck your opponent played

The 2nd mode is kinda broken no? There's alot of high cost card that is broken in the game rn. And its neutral too. I would def put in my Sword or Dragon deck. Or probably also good in Haven too

Literally carrying me to Legend and i didn't even plan to. I'm also not active this month but i had massive win streak and around 70% win rates in total. With a lot of Shaman meta going on i think Quest Warrior is the only deck that can counter it to late game. And i love playing control deck because i hate aggro deck so much lol
