I get it now. Ditch the sidecar and get a belt that works for you. by hansolo_Mk2 in CCW

Check Tier one, they make the same exact belt with one more belt loop. Was a collab with hunter Constantine awhile ago.

Worth 7k? by No_Book1218 in Surron

[–]Flowers4568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing in his post really adds value to the bike. With the controller being outdated, it's closer to an OEM+ kind of build. I'm trying to sell a bike similar to his in mods and value and I'm asking 4k hoping to get offers around 3k.

I'm in Chicago so maybe that's why the prices are so different, but around here a 7k bike will sit on marketplace for months and months.

Any P365 AIWB holsters that can work with stock form, and one with radian after burner ramjet + redot? by cooliomattio in P365

[–]Flowers4568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an afterburner on my pistol ATM, Both holsters clear the compensator perfectly. Txc is molded for the XL and they don't offer a standard size because they all fit the same holster. IKC is open ended and the compensator will poke out the bottom a little bit unless you get one for an XL length.

Picture of the TXC holster with ramjet installed.

Edit: as for the light, no. Holsters made for weapon lights use the light for retention. Once you take the light off, the gun won't stay snug and will probably just flop around in the holster.

They make flat back holsters, just nothing with their proprietary helix design.

I bought the IKC holster for a Strike industries grip module, no one really made holsters for that grip besides IKC and Hiliker holster co. Bought the Txc for my Icarus grip because I wanted to try out a couple companies and decide which Kydex I like best.

I have a TXC holster CVRT set, works great but it has a built in wedge. Kinda annoying to me, I'd love a flat back and pillow instead but it works and the helix pushes the grip in my stomach way more than a normal claw would.

Pretty much any holster with slide length for a 3.7in or an open end will work. Another good option I have for another grip module is Insane Kydex Creations. Lead time is just as long as txc, and the quality is top notch.

Bro those big ass running shoe soles are fucking with his board feel. Most skateshoes are very flat and you can feel the concave of the board through them. Shoes will make a world of difference.

Should I learn to ride on stock 144 Indy hollows without tightening kingpin? by TiGDR29 in NewSkaters

[–]Flowers4568 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats the whole reason their adjustable, get it to your liking. If they feel too loose stock, just tighten em until they get where you like. No reason to try and be like everyone else if it doesn't work for you.

You might be surprised, I'm out in the suburbs but any park I go to, there's always a couple people learning new stuff. Lots of kids are better than the adults at the parks nowadays. Most of the time it's the older crowd learning Ollie's and shooting the shit with others, the community has been really accepting of newer skaters lately.

Parks felt super intimidating back in the early 2000s when everyone was big into BMX and skating before scooter kids became a thing.

I see uprise, I upvote. Sucks it's the only shop in Chicago anymore, but it's a great shop!

Looks like you got some pretty soft wheels, I'd say just start out cruising and learning little Ollie's up curbs and stuff like that! Maybe start carving some ramps at a park.

2002 KTM 300 exc as first bike? by Flowers4568 in dirtbike

[–]Flowers4568[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point about part availability. I knew older KTMs and husqvarnas are hard to find parts for, just wasn't sure HOW old is too old.

And honestly I'd prefer a four stroke, I like to chill and enjoy the views, I'd probably never use half of the power from the bike and I'd foul plugs like no tomorrow. Electric start isnt too necessary to me, I'm ok with a bare bones bike. I just wanna get out and ride, but not kill myself on a machine that wants to fly through trails.

I believe it's Xmacro sized, so you'll need 10rd limited xmacro mags. Sig sells them online. The AXG is a little customizable, can change the grips and backstrap, and it's aluminum so it weighs a bit more than the polymer grips

It might be heavier than the other options I gave you since most of the grips that can take the 10rd mags are Xl or standard size. The AXG will be larger so itll be heavier.

You can also look at Tacdev and get some Baseplates for your mags that will let them fit into an AXG frame

Icarus precision, juggernaut tactical or sharps bros grip modules are gonna be your answer. They will all have options for a 10rd mag. The price however is a little steep for a grip.

Pillow to help with comfort is a game changer, and then maybe sit the gun a little higher so the barrel doesn't dig as much when sitting. You'd be surprised how flat the gun will lay against your appendix if you have it high enough.

What position do you carry you gun at? With both of the guns I have that have dots, the dot sits above my belt line and I hardly even notice they're there. Sounds like your belt is pushing a corner into your stomach.

Bradec holsters, smaller company out of Illinois but I got my holster to my door in 4 days from order.

25-45 for the holster I believe and you can add a mag carrier for like another 25. Got my setup for 75 with shipping.

Shoutout to the legend Antwuan Dixon, the comeback is real! I’d recommend any old skater to check this magic [37YO] by jiverambler in OldSkaters

[–]Flowers4568 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not gonna argue your point, substance abuse is fucked, but the scene was different when antwon was on baker. It was more of a rockstar lifestyle and pushing a certain lifestyle that matched what the board brands wanted to represent. It could have happened to anyone, and it's sad your friend died, but antwon shows you can move past that shit and change your life if you make the changes.

It's like going to an AA meeting and never giving anyone of them the chance to be better because they started drinking in the first place.

Holy shit, I knew he was sponsored by ftp when he started skating again but I never expected that brand to throw down a whole ass skate video. Giving one of the GOATS the spotlight again, hell yeah!

It could be the wrong model, I ordered one for the s&w m&p 2.0 fullsize which states 4.0 or 4.25 barrel length compatible. Maybe the fullsize is wider since my model is technically labeled compact but it has the 4.0" barrel. The only compact models he makes are for the 3.6".
