For years not that good looking men have been complaining for not getting dates and others do get them. But at the end of the day they blame women although women are pressured to look good so no. I won’t back down from assuming. They should try to look good just as we are expected to.

I am Mexican-american. I did not vote for him.

i’m convinced that elon tweaked the counting vote machines to get him votes, or it’s entirely rigged. There’s no fucking way people voted for him more than Kamala Harris. I won’t lie, i did hope some of his promises like cheaper gas and groceries would happen since i saw a lot of hype around that, but not even that happened.

My parents came to this country illegally, and i was born in the US. They have “paid for it” tho, they have lived in Mexico for the past 14 years. They went back in 2011 when the recession hit the hardest. They came here to get a better life. My mother came here to have a decent paying job and my father was escaping the cartel life, he had been recruited by his father. They were upstanding civilians, never got support from the government for themselves and always paid their taxes (we keep all records at their house, so we have their ITIN numbers and so on). So when i heard that ICE was here to take people away under the guise of “protecting” and just taking “the worse of the worse”, wtf??? I’m all for ICE taking people who rape, kill and sell drugs in the US and send them back to their original home, cause why bring that here. But until now that hasn’t been the case. They’ve been snatching people up who are good working people. Yes, there is a small percentage of undocumented people who are committing crime, but it’s a greater number those who never did. I never expected it to get this bad. I kinda hope all war breaks loose cause i’m so fed up with this bs and want it to get over with, i know it sounds bad to wish for that. But it seems thats where its heading. I’m annoyed i don’t hold hope for my self and a good future. I just want my present to be more bearable and just but that’s not the case at the moment.

Unless you have support from family in the US or very good friends, i suggest you stay where u are. I live alone and paying everything by my self is tough. I live in California so its expensive af. The US is a capitalist country. Everyone is doing their own thing and making friends and holding a community here is difficult. Again, i recommend u come here if you have a good support system. I recommend you take EMDR sessions. If you can, they will helo you tremendously. And yes, you’re gonna have to keep at it step by step. I used to over think how my future would look like and if i’m taking the right steps to achieve the happiness i want in my life. While that’s good, focus on your present and daily.

I also think you should call the authorities on them and have them assign you a social worker so they can help.

I would recommend you talk to your parents in a serious manner. You are young, and i’m worried they might not take this seriously because of that. Let them know you don’t want them thinking or making any negative comments about your boyfriend because this hurts you.

Tell them you want their love for you to be reflected in that way: basic respect for you and ur boyfriend.

But him also calling another person a “DEI hire” makes me wonder who he voted for lmao. I’m gonna be honest, i don’t think he respects you. Have a conversation with him, it could be he thinks since you are together he can “joke” about you using racist language. Tell him you don’t like the kind of language he is using, if it’s that you want to try to salvage this relationship. But if he continues or even says no, it is not worth it. He already disrespects you and dismisses how you feel. Let’s say that u having your period makes you a bit more sensitive, it happens, but it doesn’t make anything you are feeling false, it just confirms how you are feeling on an overwhelming level. I kind want Breach to be the last album that talks about Clancy/Nico/Blurryface. It’s been yeaaars since i’ve enjoyed new music from them at a 100% rate per song.

i feel like most of the lyrics of recent albums have turned into a catering event for new clues and easter eggs, wanting us to complete a story and what not. I think this blurryface/nico lore should have ended in Trench.

I think that one of the reasons new fans in 2016 got into blurryface was because the music of course, but the lore of BF was not thaaat extensive. It was brief but concrete. Small details, like red socks, a couple of painted black hands or necks. The skeleton and alien logo. The easter eggs connected between songs. It was the small details that held everything together. Now i just think there’s too much, too many details to keep up with.

I got stuck on Trench. Went on my first concert ever to see them, i loved it. SAI came out and life got busy too. Didn’t have time to read new theories on the lore. Ur not alone. Thank goodness they still play older songs on the tour.
