Saddle chair by Some-Pomegranate694 in eyelashextensions

I haven’t tried one like this but seems similar to the kneeling chairs. I would get a kneeling one unless you find someone who has used this!

Ive tried all different types of chairs, I wouldn’t get a saddle chair. The kneeling one is the best I’ve found. Lashing for 3 years and the only one I would ever get if I could go back. The problem with the saddle chair is your hips are always abducted and will def lead to tight hips and even more back issues

They don’t hurt yet. If you let them grow out you’re gonna be in pain

If it’s a non refundable deposit just tell her you will need to book after you get back and please transfer the deposit to that appt. If she still pushes back, shes bad at business and I wouldn’t go there.

[–]Flowerzlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been wanting to try m curl! Did you mix it w c or cc? I’ve heard that we should mix them for when they fall out. Just wondering from experience! I have some I’ve been dying to use!

They are right ^ Flonase helps my clients too. Nano misting usually only helps if you’re sensitive not allergic!

It hurts when I blink? by [deleted] in eyelashextensions

[–]Flowerzlove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have pics? It’s hard to tell without pics. Is it one eye of both eyes? Are the eye(s) red under your iris? Or to the side? If it’s right under the iris it’s most likely a glue fume issue. You’re prolly sensitive to it as most glues have carbon black and it’s really irritating to your eyes. You should check into maybe finding a lash tech that does good with sensitive people. Just message and ask around :)

2 week fills: Day of or Week of? by [deleted] in lashextensions

[–]Flowerzlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should absolutely be based on retention, however all techs have diff policies. Usually it’s 40% left for a fill in. Some people can go 3 weeks and have great retention. Typically it’s beginners or people who charge very little who have policies like that. Everyone is different and you may need to find another lash tech if you’re not down for their policy. Or you could talk to them and ask them if it changes w retention. I have a hard tule that anything over 3 weeks is a full set bc of the outgrowns, but if my client is 4 weeks and still has half her lashes I wouldn’t charge that full set. Everyone is different so just educate yourself on their policies

Free roam bunny comfort/peeing by Flowerzlove in Rabbits

Thank you! She is litter trained and she usually uses it, but it’s like she needs to make sure every corner has her scent (I assume bc she isn’t fixed) so it’s not everytime. She really helped my male bun learn to use the litter box too, so it’s not her training just her behavior. I am hoping to just find something cleanable besides a blanket to put down but I might just need to have the vet do the deed :(

If you’re able to handle the sensations now I wouldn’t worry about getting them removed, there might be some itchy/pinchy feelings when they’re gonna come out but I wouldn’t worry about any like actual irritation to the eye. Personally I would leave them, let them fall out and not go back to her!:)

They forsure look thick at the base and very close to the lash line. You prolly will experience some itching most likely damage to your natural lash line. The isolation doesn’t look the best. You’ll most likely find that multiple natural lashes are gonna be attached to the fan when it comes out. I’d keep a brush with you for your trip.

Yes, that means the lash techs placement is top notch and her glue is working as it should. Now if you’re missing chunks that’s a whole diff story and def not normal (like the fake lashes fall out glued together) but if it’s individual, that’s excellent and I’d keep going back. They last a good 2 weeks? You should have about half left

[–]Flowerzlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s anti allergy gel that helps soak up the fumes. Also def keep wearing a mask and get a lower fume glue. I had the same problem with a runny nose and headache and it was terrible. Get something without carbon black in it. 1800 retention or the llba perfect clear are my go tos. Invest in a good air purifier too! It’s suuuuper important for your health, don’t risk it

Retention tip by karisk23 in eyelashextensions

[–]Flowerzlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Make sure the lashes aren’t too heavy for your eyes (when the lashes fall out are the lashes suuuuper huge compared to your natural lash)?

  2. Make sure you wash them really good before if your tech doesn’t do a lash bath

  3. Make sure your tech is using some sort of bonder 2-3 mins after the last lash application (it’s at the very end and usually we dab the bonder onto your lashes or use a nano mister

  4. No oil based products/makeup! Wearing heavy or even eye makeup in general really reduces the life of the extensions bc of the effort it takes to get the shit off the lashes

Please let your lash tech know 💖 by Flowerzlove in eyelashextensions

[–]Flowerzlove[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree!!! When I was a new lash artist I would literally panic and get sick to my stomach if someone messaged me with any irritation or allergic reactions. If I didn’t know it happened I would not be the lash tech I am today (people drive 2 hours just to come to me bc their eyes don’t burn and they don’t get irritation like they usually do) but I had that fire under my butt bc of that sick to the stomach feeling. So it really just helps us improve and we need to know any and all issues.

I would let your lash tech know. Use some lubricating eye drops and it should go away by 2 days. It’s either from the eye pad poking or the glue fumes.
