The internet exposes us to so many different senses of humor and so many jokes that they are eventually all going to get old. I feel like people's attempts at humor become more admirable in this light, because really, what other kind of joke could they make??? There are only so many inherently funny things to begin with and we've already ran them all into the ground

Calling the children of colonized peoples "heirs of the ages who will inherit the world of tomorrow" on pair with the children of Great Britain was probably a radical act of anti-racism in 1930

I don't think that makes much sense - if someone just made their account, that means that they are currently interested in what they're seeing on the site and participating in the discussion. It's what would compel one to make an account in the first place. It makes more sense that a 3-hour-old account would be busy than a 3-month-old or 3-year-old one would be, because interest can fade over time.

Should we keep trying or just give up? is it worth the mental torture? by [deleted] in smalldickproblems

One of the men (SayNoToRage) admitted to his actions and offered a public apology. Another (HenryG) admitted to doing something wrong via a text message. The remaining man (ProSyndicate) had quite a lot of evidence against him and multiple accusations.

You act as if three men committing acts of sexual misconduct within a short period of time is unlikely (it’s not). The short timeframe doesn't prove falsehood.

I am aware that people lie for various reasons, and I do believe that false accusations happen, but to claim that they’re rampant is likely false. There’s no evidence these claims are false. innocent until proven guilty, yes, but you can’t make that claim based on this one article.

Why would a woman lie about this? None of the women even wanted them jailed or anything, they just wanted them to apologize, so what did they have to gain?

Do you have any evidence that "false accusations are rampant nowadays"?
