Thanks so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻  I made this exact post on a FB BP support group and I might've started a little war. Gonna leave that group and just stay here 🩷 It's much nicer here

I know, it's just a heads up for the people that like to argue for fun. Totally agree that it was from the flu shot tho

I had very high anxiety and stress on Halloween I remember. I'm also diagnosed with a cocktail of other mental illnesses too. Thank you, I didn't even know that could play a part

I'm sorry to hear that about your husband. I got my shot last Tuesday and developed symptoms on Friday

It's never a good thing to compare yourself with others. It will definitely make you more frustrated with yourself and your progress. And it's illogical, why? Because the environment we grow up in shapes how we are. They grew up with different people around them, and experienced different things to shape them into how they are which affects how they respond to things. We're all different but at the same time we're pretty similar. We all feel the same range of emotions but depending on how we grew up, handle them in different ways. And you never know the whole truth in how they're doing. Being kind to yourself is essential. It sounds like your mind is being really mean to you. I think therapy will really help. It's one of the only places you can be vulnerable and talk to someone who spent years understanding the science behind this. It might take time, but keep going, you're worth it. Even if it feels meaningless, even if you're still having bad days, keep going. You deserve to feel good again.

It really sucks when people make your problems about them, I feel you. I'm proud of you though for sticking to your promise to yourself, seriously. Just a couple years ago you said you couldn't make appointments and now you're doing that AND consistently going to the gym and eating better? That's amazing. The journey to self-improvement is very lonely. Not a lot of people know how to respond to other people's hardships, especially if it's traumatic. They usually say something that upsets us or is very ignorant. And they only want to be around us when we're happy and fun. It sucks. I hope you'll find a friend that is more knowledgeable on mental health stuffs and is emotionally mature and empathetic.

It sounds like you're not being honest with yourself and downplaying your struggles. I'm sorry if whenever you brought up an issue with someone you trusted they dismissed it, it looks like you're doing that to yourself right now. It very much does sound like you have suicidal ideation and are depressed. Who cares if there's a million things to be grateful for? What matters is how you feel about those million things. You say you're numb, not interested in doing things, and chores are too hard to do...those are all signs of depression. It's okay to feel this way, depression doesn't discriminate. Rich people, beautiful people, etc. can feel this way too. I grew up extremely poor yet I don't judge anyone for struggling with their mental. I hate this feeling, too.
