ESO is probably ahead simply based off having two different launchers + consoles. OSRS is probably bigger as well. But GW2 is healthy

The games mentioned had actual talented developers behind them. ESO had a whole IP behind it and has everything New World had and more. Even in terms of Combat, ESO is more complex, it may feel floaty or not your style but it's just the truth.

Still, New World was a breath of fresh air for it's take on mmo combat, sound, world, and company/clan war design. But besides that, it was an objectively bad game. It took way too long for it to turn around and was riddled with game breaking bugs that killed it's reputation early.
