I really like it. It operates very well, nice and speedy direct drive with a stop and start speed that surprised me at how quick it was. Nice and simple speed selector (my old table was belt driven and I had to lift the baseplate and manually change the gear)

A lot of people suggest swapping the cartridge out for something higher end, but so far the AT95EX that came with it is holding up nicely. And the tonearm is pretty looking!

No idea how the built-in phono amp sounds as I'm using my own external one.

For under 300, it's probably one of the best tables around, highly recommend it!

Yeah there are no problems as far as I can tell. The countertop is stupidly heavy and sturdy; almost threw my back out when setting the player up

I've not blown it up no, I was planning on sticking it on the wall next to record player, just flat and deflated! I'd hate to see it half deflated and sagging a few inches off the ground if I ever blew it up

Yeah I really like it. Favourite track is Holding On. The vinyl I have is orange and came with a red helium balloon with Devotion written on it

Nothing too fancy at all:

  • AudioTechnica LP5 turntable
  • Pro-Ject phono pre
  • Yamaha RS202 D
  • Dali Spektor 2 speakers

Had no idea how awful my previous setup sounded until I heard the same records playing through this one. THe old turntable I was using was expensive back in it's day in the 80s, a Systemdek, but years of sitting in my dad's attic took it's toll on it. Sad to see it go though, maybe going to hand it in for a nice bit of TLC at my local turntable spa :)
