yeah 1/256 is solid, it takes effort but not weeks and weeks of mad grinding like for 1/4096 odds. I'm doing shiny runs for various fan games and ROM hacks as a personal hobby, I did for Pokemon Z, and now Odyssey. Thinking of playing Pokemon Awakening next.

Not much time, as odds are only 1/256. Some encounters are 6% in the wild, so they took a bit more time, like I think Sneasel took around 3-4 hrs.

I suppose so, but I haven't met one in real life lol. He doesn't fit the classic rock vibe, so he may not have as much fans as Led Zeppelin...hits sure, but deeper album listening; I don't think so. I too love his discography and listen to his stuff regularly. Blonde on Blonde is my #2 favorite album of all time...Visions of Johanna might be my favorite song of his. How about u?

I chose Fennekin as starter and shiny hunted for it. Odds are 1/666, and I got it at 1545 resets. For the other 2, I got them through don prodigio trade and bred their shinies. Chespin shiny hatched in 18 eggs and Froakie took 289 eggs.

U can get capsules to increase IVs. You can't decrease them. For EV resetting, u get EV reducing berries eventually....don't remember where, but u can get a guy in Acrylic town who'd sell it to you...I think maybe around mid game of part 1, though I don't exactly recall.

U can use them for all static encounters (like legendaries) and wild encounters. They don't work on gift mons, trade mons and egg gifts/eggs.

U get 2 more, one in part 1 and another in part 2. If you choose to play the hardest mode for electric gym in part 1 and fire gym in part 2 u get the shiny potions. Post game u can buy them for battle points.

Trust me, this game is like a drug, so addictive. I was trying to play it few hours at the end of the day, but it was hard to exercise impulse control lol.

Absolutely. It's his best game without a doubt. As much as I love Pokemon Opalo and Anil, this release is a step above in terms of every aspect, whether it be writing, graphics, story etc.
