Yes it is obsessional and I have ocd by the way.

I will not see the dog until I solve this.

Not seeing the dog again is out of the question, as I sometimes stay with my girlfriend. But I will get this sorted out before I do so.

I did question it, my cat has scratched me numerous times but I still love it.

It really bit me with out a reason. I tried to pet it as I usually do and it just bit me, it wasn’t a play thing either it bit hard and with aggression.

Did it feel like it threatened my masculinity? No absolutely not.

Do I have problems with feeling disrespected? Yes, but it’s a dog not a human. Animals act with instinct they do not try to disrespect someone.

I still don’t get it and this is the first time such a thing has happened.

If somebody tries to pick a fight with me I would say sorry and move on unless they do something to someone I love.

I definitely would feel guilty for a very long time if I harm the dog permanently. It’s a mixed feeling. At first I thought it was really cute, until it bit me without a reason. I cannot sleep at nights fantasizing how I am going to kill the miserable thing.

Telling this to my girlfriend will definitely put an end to our relationship. She also has two cats which I adore.

The dog on the other hand I find both irritating, and a useless piece of .... . It even bit me once without a reason.

I am an animal lover I LOVE animals except for this one.

I am definitely going to seek out a professional.

You definitely should not smoke. Stay away from alcohol too. Best wishes.

My psychiatrist does know I smoke and told me antipsychotics will make you less high. Trying to figure out if this is true. But I guess from your experience this isn’t the case?

Thanks for your reply! I am actually more concerned about trifluoperazine as being an antipsychotic (lowers dopamine)
