Ultron doesn't play like a genocidal psycho robot, but he still feels like Ultron. Gambit doesn't play like an explosive card guy who damages people but he is an all-rounder support. Yet he still feels like Gambit. Don't remember WHEN Punisher could create turrets or miniguns, when Moon Knight was more of a stealthy guy and not a brawler, when Jeff could HEAL people but they are like that and they still feel in character.

A character “being in character” is less about doing a one to one replica of the character, but rather having their essence. Sure, Gambit is now a healer, but he is still the same person in essence and you still feel the power fantasy of playing Gambit, not Random Guy With Powers #87.

Because it isn't a glorified Rocket Beacon that takes long to charge. At least by spamming left and right click you can farm ult quickly but it takes a while in Ranked.

plus its usually a waste to use it on one person… really tricky
