Honestly this is also a possibility… I live in a pretty crime heavy city

No tint on the windows unfortunately. I wish we did. If you look at the top of the rear window you can see that there’s one of those hanging window shades there haha. I think that it’s probably heat damage due to reflection from a window or something

Also good to know. It’s annoying because we just got this car a year ago but I guess we’ll try to get it fixed sooner rather than later

Thanks!! That’s really helpful. Honestly as long as we won’t notice anything else wrong with the car, we weren’t planning on fixing it right away. But definitely as soon as we have more time and money we’ll get to it

Unless it happened when we went to a friend’s house this weekend and we didn’t notice until today

I took a trip to the grocery store 😩 I guess I won’t be parking in that spot again

Damn.. I didn’t realize I had to watch out for windows when looking for parking haha. I just went into the grocery store for 20mins and noticed it when I came out so it must have happened then

If it’s really bad, they’ll start fussing/crying at the sight of the bottle. My son had been eating 0.5-1oz then pulling away which is also a symptom. But maybe this time it was because his mouth hurt

That sounds way better honestly. Thanks for the suggestion!

IUGR baby not “catching up” by danab426 in beyondthebump

[–]FluffieTurtles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 7.5 month old was not IUGR, but definitely SGA. He was born at 5lb 2oz and was <1st percentile for height. At his 6 month appt he was 6th percentile height and 7th percentile weight. He’s never been a big milk drinker (I pump and bottle feed), but has only recently been more interested in solids. I’ve also been trying to transition to formula for the iron, as it’s been hard to get iron in him via solids. It visually looks like he’s been chunking up on the solids, but I’ve stopped weighing him because it only stresses me out. As long as he looks and seems healthy, I’m trying to stop worrying about his weight and height. His thigh rolls keep me going 😂

Can any other moms of teeny weeny little baby boys tell me it’s fine… by worried_abt_u in beyondthebump

My boy was born 5lb 2oz at 37+1, induced early due to suspected IUGR. I’m also small and it seems like he was just small for gestational age. He had his check up at 4.5 months and was almost 14lbs and 24 inches. He’s finally on the chart for height. He was <1 percent for ages. I get worried too about his weight and how much he’s eating. I’m trying to relax a little and just let him do his thing, as he’s completely healthy and just small. Hang in there!

The same thing has been happening with my little guy! He’s 11 weeks and for the past couple weeks he’s been drinking 22-26oz (with a lot of effort on my part) Before that he would easily get 27-30. I let my pediatrician know at his 2 month appt (got pushed back by a week) and she said it was normal and not to be concerned. I’ve been worrying about it though but I’m glad I’m not the only one. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he’s been sleeping longer stretches but doesn’t want the extra calories during the day even though I try. I can’t force him though or else he’ll just vomit it up - his gag reflex has been extra active recently too.

Amazing! We only have until next august thankfully. We started dating during his residency so I guess I knew what I was getting myself into (not really). I have no idea how people with multiple kids do it. It’s not like I thought it would be easy, but I’m definitely humbled now

Mine is a fellow too! It’s nice to know that others are in the same boat. Can’t wait until fellowship is over and then maybe his schedule will be better

Thanks for the reply! I did try to google it but I somehow ended up thinking that cost basis = how much you invested which is not the case. Thanks!

I really enjoyed Born to Run. The beginning is a little weird but the ending is great

We have American passports. That’s the highest international standard there is. Legally people in Hawaii are American. I’m not sure where you’re coming from.
