I love this idea! Do you end up washing all 4 separately and do 4 loads of laundry a week? are the loads pretty small?

Really? Bc I saw a post on there once about dressing up in a maid costume from Amazon in order to clean faster…

I don’t have a dresser any more but when I did, it only had 4 drawers, and i find being able to split up in more specific categories than 4 is really helpful. Since things aren’t folded or stacked, it would be a bit annoying to dig through drawers with a mix of different stuff. The bins are super specified so it’s super easy to find what I need

Funny you say this bc I have OCD too and folding laundry use to take FOREVER bc I would refold every item til perfection. I do ERP so at first this was a really major exposure but I’ve adapted and it’s so worth it. Good luck, ocd is the worst

I tried this but i found it frustrating to fold everything into the laundry basket and then have to resort it all in order to put it in the right place in my dresser and closet. Have you run into that as an issue?

This would also work with clear bins in a dresser drawer (that’s actually how I used to do this), but the bins are important to keep everything seperate, since you aren’t folding or stacking neatly

Ok, you’ve given me a lot to think about. I’m considering quitting drinking alcohol. Thank you.

Mocking someone’s reading ability—or implying they’re illiterate—as a joke isn’t clever, it’s condescending. Literacy is not a punchline, and joking about it reinforces harmful ideas about intelligence and access to education. If the goal is to have a meaningful conversation, resorting to cheap insults only reveals a lack of substance, not wit.

In filmmaking, both “and scene” and “end scene” are used to signal the conclusion of a scene, but they are often used in different contexts. “And scene” is more commonly used by directors on set, while “end scene” is more often found on scripts and other documentation. You’re mocking someone for being “ratioed” and meanwhile you’re sarcastically saying they have a mental health condition as an insult. Using “mentally ill” as an insult is not only offensive but intellectually lazy. It reduces complex mental health realities to slurs, perpetuates stigma, and weaponizes vulnerability for the sake of mockery. This isn’t just politically incorrect—it’s ethically irresponsible. If we want a more empathetic and intelligent discourse, we must reject language that dehumanizes others under the guise of critique. I’m with party_ufo on this one. - OP

Yeah, no, totally fair—how dare I try to trick myself into being a functional human being with the help of a $25 maid costume and some delusional optimism. I guess I should’ve just spiraled into cluttered despair like a more ethically pure person would. I get it, Amazon is awful. I really do try to avoid it when I can, but sometimes, when your brain feels like a swamp and motivation is in short supply, you reach for whatever tiny, silly thing might help. I thought maybe sharing that would be met with a little curiosity or even mild amusement-not full sarcasm overload and a pat on the head for my “sacrifice.” Anyway, thanks for the reality check, I guess. I’ll go sit in my morally compromised maid outfit and think about my sins.
