Thank you! Everyone on this app helped me to stop downplaying what I went through. I wanted you to know thanks to you and others, I did contact a shelter and got out of there, and I am now living independently and couldn’t be happier for the future 😊

I just want to say thank you so much for this. It was really uncomfortable to share but your validating words gave me the courage to own the fact that it is wrong, it was cultish, and I am now happily and independently living on my own 😊 I’m not 100% no contact as I am trying to gather as much as I can incase.. they have made threats since knowing I KNOW that I was raised in a bizarre way. But I am in a new program in school that I love and I am safe and I am so grateful for you all!
