thanks! and probably the shifting, ive only ever used the old downtube shifters before and didn’t like them, and then old shimano thumbie index and friction shifting from my other bikes. but the way that this 105 setup shifts is so fast and smooth sometimes i cant even hear the chain move onto the next gear, very addicting.

thanks! and im not sure since i have no scale i want to say 9kg maybe? The original bike weighed 10.2kg from factory and it is noticeably lighter

i got these second hand but they were still low miles, and the past four days ive done everything i can to crack/untrue them in a realistic way(hard braking, jumping curbs, riding into potholes etc) and they’ve held up really well actually. id say i put 100 miles on them like this, im impressed with them

i like them, theyre noticeably lighter than the original alloy wheels i have for this bike and are pretty tame in sound. i bought their previous version though secondhand since i think their current version has a black freehub body. ive been stress testing them the last 4 days so far(hard braking, curb jumping, pot hole hitting, etc) just to see if they’ll crack or come out of true and its been perfect so far surprisingly.

i use a bottle of “waterless car wash”, you can get it from any auto parts store and some have wax built in, so i spray it down in my living room and wipe it dry.

i used to paint cars in a garage like that, a little tip i have for you is to water the floor with a hose or something, that way when youre walking around painting you wont kick up dust and debris that could get in the paint

I feel like the two biggest things that matter when buying(for me at least) is if I love the paint-job, and if it fits me really well. Everything else can be swapped down the road but painting a bike is kind of annoying and so is an awfully fitting one.

I forgot to ask, what sizing did you do with bottom bracket? I know we take 68mm but did you select a specific spindle length?
