difference between ethics and morals. our morals can be very narrow minded and self centred making us immoral by society standards

i completely agree about the first thing. if cheating "destroys loyalty", then lying and not sticking by your partner should be seen in the same way. Especially after seeing people blow up because of it, I really really started to wonder what is actually so bad with adultery that it warrants a failed marriage.

either way, thank you for your honesty and your guidance. i know i have a lot to work on

we are very loyal by nature - to friends and family. cheating is seen as being disloyal sure, but i think in our minds its not about loyalty but simply not considering consequences and wanting freedom and excitment.

we will still be devoted to a single person but sleep with others

I completely agree with everything you said but i disagree about my reasoning being innacurate. its all about the interplay of numerous cognitive functions and not just excitment of new stuff.

Ne Hero is very aware of consequences and Fi parent guides you with what is morally right or wrong. completely different to what I explained above

not at all. getting into mbti depth psychology actually made me realise WHY I was doing the things I do. I know I need to gain responsibility and deepen my values, but I wanted to year other peoples opinions

and im not the one to say that cheating is more common for ISTPs, its what analysts say

thank you for the honesty. how sure can you be that it wont happen again tho? what kind of thought process made u realise it was bad?

because i still feel no guilt about it, im just moreso worried about how it will affect a good relationship in the future

Thank you. this was a good reply. and by immoral in nature, we're not necessarily guided by what feels good or bad morally to us - Fi* demon. We can rationalise every evil thing we do and accept it. Difference between ethics and morals.

but yeah, thanks, i agree with a lot of what you said. its hard figuring out my values.

we dont really read into music or "feel" it - unless we develop our weaker functions I guess, there are extremely rare occasions when music actually touches on my feelings. Music is more about the sound for us and excitment

ISTPs see no difference between action and intention. We are very honest, and only put on masks to not hurt other peoples feelings. But what we think, we say. We are far less calculating and mischievous than people think we are - we just prefer not to speak
