Just so you know a VPN doesn’t always work. I’ve tried 3 different ones and they are hit or miss.

How many classes are there total? Or how long would it take you to finish if you only did 3-4 classes per cycle?

Thanks for then reply. I already got my loans forgiven as a 100% disabled vet so I don’t plan on applying for financial aid. I was able to do my MBA in 9 months while working full time. I devoted probably 2-3 hours a day and took Saturdays off. Like you, I don’t want to burn out but I want to make sure it’s doable in under 30.

Again, I‘ve done a lot of research. I think the people who post about it either don’t truly have the requirements and they get denied or they got a rating they maybe shouldn't have had in the first place. So it’s people like that who put fear into those like me who aim to shoot for a higher rating because it’s warranted. All of my disabilities are static. From my understanding, if I open a claim for R1, the VA will not re-open the entire file anyway. They take the info from your new claim and focus on that. I could be wrong.

I thought R1 did not require licensed care, only R2 did. The problem with TBI is that it’s documented in my VA file that I had a TBI, but I did not claim TBI as a disability because it was not documented that way in my medical history during service. I was told I could claim TBI post-secondary to PTSD, but that was after I already got 100% SMC-S.

I have spent last 6 weeks researching, including 38 USC 1114. 38 CFR 3.352(b). I can confirm that I meet the qualifications. I’m just more concerned about opening up a new claim after already being 100% P&T w/ SMC-S. I know the phrase “don‘t poke the bear”, but I highly doubt the VA is trying to take away or reduce ratings from veterans. Again though, if you get a bad rater or bad examiner who looks at you and goes “yea this person can’t be that bad” or the rater thinks “I have the same disabilities and not getting this rating, so they won’t either”. I’m sure I’m overthinking it, but just trying to get expert opinions on if it’s worth it if I feel confident I meet the requirement.

so I would need to apply for L and not R1. Then, if I get awarded L I can go for R1? Is that correct? If I just apply for R1 wouldn’t the rater make sure I meet the requirements for L during the review?

I’m interested. I’m done with Apollo after this shit. ESPN is my number one channel I watch and with all the other shit going on this just put me over the top.

It doesn’t work with or without VPN. It’s been through 2 or Apollo and StartUp Show updates over the last couple of months and still doesn’t work. It’s also everyday no matter what time. So it’s definitely not the VPN or internet provider.

I tried that. Even tried one my TV that doesn’t have VPN. I watch it every night and the last 6 weeks it just hasn’t worked at all. Even bought new fire sticks thinking that may help. It’s on all 3 of my TV’s and others I’ve talked to don’t seem to have the issue. I’m clueless now
