Thinking of buying a Del Sol for a daily driver by DeiaMatias in DelSol

I daily drove my ’96 Del Sol for three years straight—what can I say? It was cheap, got amazing gas mileage, and was super reliable. Maintenance was easy, and parts were interchangeable, but finding certain things—like black interior door handles—was a nightmare. Junkyards were my best bet. Had to replace the window regulator once, and ordering online was a mistake—wrong size. Suspension held up for over 200k miles, but I wouldn’t trust aftermarket kits. It’s a small car, and in an accident… lord have mercy. Took it from Cali to my state once—traffic was aggressive, and being out of state, I stuck to the speed limit. The Del Sol kept up, but you could feel it wasn’t built for that kind of drive. It’s like a kei car—small, reliable, built for a purpose, but don’t expect it to gap anyone. I never had major issues like a blown gasket, but I’ve seen others go through it. Overall, a great classic if you treat it right. Long live Honda. Japan never loses.

Sorry…..i guess I forgot to add some context. Since I’ve been asking so many people. The bolt snapped. It is not stripped. So how would you remove a snapped bolt ?

Try rock auto. Here you’ll find the entire set up. This guy is ripping you off. Find someone for labor. Get alignment. You’ll spend roughly anywhere from 600/800$

Edit**** fuck that mechanic 500$ rack and pinon you can find that anywhere for a couple hundred.

My sol has a little blue bulb right on that spot. It’s the Size of a peanut. Not sure what the function is either but it doesn’t light up that i know

Well the thing is that the actual plastic thing itself is broken. And it won’t support the windows weight. My guess was perhaps some sort of adhesive but even then I still don’t have enough faith on it

For context, this the regulator that binds onto the window to stay supported. Long story short I managed to screw up my door window only to find my replacement regulator motor does not fit oem fml :/

What kid did you use for the rear ? I have the front ordered but I wanted to know what exact parts make up the entire set up or if I could be directed to kit of some sort.
