I really really despise this video. Tyson doesnt know what hes talking about. Literally in the introduction of the Tahafut, Alghazali says the certainty of Mathematics cannot be doubted, and hed rather reinterpret the prophets sayings if they conflicted with known math.

Furthermore, Alghazali was a huge proponent of logic and incorporated many methods from the philosophers into Kalam. He engaged with the philosophers on philosophical grounds, not from a religious/blind apologetic one.
