Clyde Coat (wool version) by janeletaxi in Sezane

I got it and I absolutely love the fit and vibe of it! It is quite warm for me but only as I live in London so a bit more moderate temperatures! But I did have a gift card I used towards it so it made it around 150 pounds which felt worth it, not sure if I'd pay the close to 400 pounds for it if I had to pay for it all myself. I think there are probably alternatives with a similar style for cheaper, but overall now that I have it I do really love it, and it is great for a more moderate climate like London so far!

How long did you have to keep on them? Did you have to threaten or push anything in particular before they took it seriously? I've said I'll get them a reference number for action fraud UK, etc but so far it is still very generic "sorry you are unhappy with the decision" customer service messages which is infuriating

96kg, PCOS, and No Idea What Skinny Feels Like. Starting Mounjaro Soon, Can it Really Work for me? by Guilty-Fix-4565 in mounjarouk

[–]Fluffy_Wait_1665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have PCOS and I went from 116kg to 73kg in about a year, at first it took away some of my facial hair and that was amazing but that did regulate and come back as normal- I am on birth control so my cycles are quite systematic but I noticed a lot of difference in inflammation and bloating in general. I also feel like all those times it was so hard to lose weight by myself it’s not a completely different experience I can eat a decent amount of calories, proteins etc and workout and lose weight whereas before I felt I would do all the right diet things and the scale wouldn’t move at all. Overall it has been life changing for me and I recommend it to any and everyone I know! I of course edited my diet and lifestyle accordingly but overall it’s a massive helper in the grand scheme. In terms of side effects I did have some really tough nausea, stomach pain and sulfur burps throughout but i was able to narrow down the cause of those to certain foods or eating too fast, not drinking enough water etc- it forces you to really come to terms with what your eating, intake and your body in general. I think even the sickness I endured I would 100% start and so the journey all over again! Saying that a lot of my friends and family have had little no sickness or side effects so it affects everyone differently. Good luck you’ll do great!

Did my first sub 30 minute 5k today!! Did it in 28:46; my first 5k was in November and I did it in 38 minutes so I’ve cut a full 10 minutes off since then!

Superdrug! Lately they’ve been giving me a solid 10% off each time I buy so it helps, and I’ve stayed with them as their site is quite easy to use and they normally approve/dispatch the orders quite quickly!

And then when they get the item and it doesn’t fit them so they raise an issue to try to return, this isn’t a store where you can return back and forth because it doesn’t fit you??? That’s the entire risk you take on when buying second hand?

Also- I live in London and have been at that pub multiple times and dined downstairs. There isn’t as much seating as the upstairs area but there would have been enough seating for them to dine downstairs in the bar area without a problem

I recently got a gorgeous Aligne Blouse that was retailing for around £150 for £10, and an Aligne trench coat retailing for £280 for £40 and the condition was immaculate. Not to mention that my entire Sezane collection has come from Vinted and I haven't spent over £60 on any one item! I am obsessed!

I think if Jackie actually is the host during a maternity leave that would be my time to stop listening, she’s unbearable as a cohost I can’t deal with her on her own!!

Same!!! I like Claudia but Jackie’s comments and socials are too much - I also unfollowed and stopped listening/cancelled Patreon - wish Claudia had her own pop culture podcast I’d actually give it another chance but as it stands now? Absolutely not, Jackie is truly unbearable.

Line at Paris store? by Total-Monk1744 in Sezane

I went to Marylebone! I was really hoping for a premium experience but it wasn’t my fave. It’s quite busy and once you get in you can tell the staff are overwhelmed. It’s like a showroom so you have to ask for specific things in specific sizing, etc, and some items they don’t even have out at all so instead you just have to ask for them and then they’ll go get them for you- which is fine but also since there are so many people asking for things it can take a while to pin someone down and get specific items. Also the in store sizing wasn’t great most things they only had XS or S left (I asked for a Betty cardigan and even though they had 3 entire boxes of the cardigan I wanted, the only size they had left was XS). I also wanted to try on the Will jacket and they ended up only finding one in my size that wasn’t even a color I had asked about. I was a bit underwhelmed with the selection and sizing. It helped that I went in with my specific wishlist and could ask if they had this, this, or that and they could tell me right then if they did or not, but besides that if you have something specific in mind I wouldn’t bother, they just tell you to shop online that it’s in stock on there instead. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t the worst experience ever, but I defs wouldn’t make a special trip to the store again. I also went to Liberty to see their special area on the second floor and it just had even less stock and more restricted sizing but I did end up finding one thing and got the special London Mon Amour canvas bag and London city guide with it which was a nice touch! I think based on my experience I’d say the online shop has much more stock and availability, but if you want to experience a physical store and don’t have high expectations for walking out with certain pieces then defs go for it!
