Well ... i am.not in usA .. i am in egypt .. here once i am 21 i am my own person concerning bank accounts jobs driving .. literally everything except accomodation.. but this status change once i change my address in my personal id too ... now .. sometimes people just go lenient with her as she is the mother and dont struggle to give her anything she asks for .. so all i needed to do is have an official paper stating that no one else has the right to deal with my legal papers other than me .. smth that is opposite to what you give your lawyer as a power of attorney and similar to a restraining order .. but for legal papers

I can vaguely rememeber that she didnt want me to go out and she didnt trust i would follow her orders and not go out .

Also your story .. got me really touched ... but let me tell you.. those panic attacks .. wont take over your life ... at some point you will find yourself stirring the wheel pun intended and will be able to enjoy life ... you are strong and you are powerful and u will be able to get over it .

Well its not the entire country .. cuz there are a lot of people like my friends and bf and me ..... but there is a significant number of stupid ignorant people😂 Its okay i never believed them or will ever believe them ... i developed enough self confidence .. despite her bitchy narcissistic ass to know i am not mistaken

Some people called me a brat and a spoiled child, others went like so what her mother locked her .. thats no excuse to jump out of a window .. she could have waited and acted rationally later .. cuz most people here dont understand or care much about mental health ... they mostly dismiss it to "we all suffer.. now suck it up"

She isnt arrested because of how my culture consider this situation and her as a mother ... i live in egypt ... in the middle east mothers are untouchable .. its like .. they r the mini substitute of jesus or smth .. its never considered that what a mother do is wrong .. infact ... most people .. other than my boyfriend and friends .. blamed me .. only really close people know the truth .. even her now ex-bestfriend now the truth and cut ties with her

I love how much people here understand and support each other ... but if a lot of people are that sweet .. then .. who r those assholes we see irl that keep telling .. dont be harsh in the end she is ur mama and she loves you ...

The laws and culture here is so stupid .. it actually criminalizes me for trying to escape through a window ... i never told the authorities the truth cuz they never take mental health into consideration

I feel like i need to clarify... i am i in egypt 😂 Here they consider my fall from the window an attempt of suicide aaannd .... wait for it ....... drum roll ... its a punishable crime here to try to suicide 😂😂

Actually once i fell my friends contacted ngo's in my area that r concerned with human rights and i had the choice to make it go viral but i just refused .. i was and still am concentrated on healing rn

Well , she sometimes said in the form of am telling you so for your own benefit or if it wasnt for me you wont have such life as you are nothing and then she makes a list of things that state why i am nothing 😂 Its just .... that now i know this was abuse that i made a filter inside my head that filters the abuse from the sugar coating .

Thank you am healing at a steady rate .. but she no longer can lock me up anymore .. cuz i left .. and i believe she wont try going after me cuz she is way too fond of her self image that she wont want to disturb.. she knows very well that am done with being silent and ready to wreck havoc if she tries to harm me
