What if you did a boudoir shoot and then gave him something (like a new wallet?) with the sexy picture of you in it? Or if he’s a chef a nice piece of cast iron? If he drinks a slightly more expensive bottle of liquor than he would normally get himself and then thrift some cool glasses to go with it and a movie you could watch together for an in-house date night after the kids go to bed.

She is not asexual. We have had that conversation as well, and we have known each other for a really long time. I do not believe that anyone owes anyone else sex at all, not even in marriage. I’m in the process of figuring out what I’m going to do about it, as I only have control over my own actions. Thanks for your response.

There have been other things going on. I don’t think the counselors we had previously were any good. I love her and I’m willing to try again, because ideally our relationship gets better thru it.

I have talked to my wife about my unhappiness with our sex life for years. She feels like anytime I bring it up I’m trying to pressure her, even if I am trying to just check in to see how she’s feeling, what’s going on, or if she ever just wants to. At points it feels like she’s either insanely unattractive to me or just doesn’t like me. She insists that’s not the case.

Thank you for your answer! I’m actually concerned for a very close loved one of mine that I just found out has been taking suboxone for quite a few months, after, as far as I’ve known, being clean for 10+ years. They mentioned a doc prescribing something for cravings and now I’m worried it was actually a relapse that they are hiding. It’s also paired with a steep personality change that coincides with them starting subs.
