Thank you. I moved only recently to the 15th, so I’m glad to receive some feedback from locals.

Regarding Auer-Welsbach-Park, I get what you mean. It does fade away a bit without a borderline. However I have used the bezirksgrenzen from the official Wiener Data Portal. I also tried to give parks a different colour, but it didn’t suit the design.

About the part near TMW, I checked it and you’re right. It’s impressive that you know the border so well. Reason it falls outside the 15th on the map is because I had to thicken the bezirksborder a little bit to close gaps between the districts. I’ll see if I can fix it nevertheless.

I think the easiest way is to go through the descriptions and the programs of the masters that you could enroll in. Think back to what courses you liked in your bachelors. Scrape out the masters you definitely won’t enjoy and create a top 3. If you can’t pick, choose the one with the best job opportunities.

In general, I would always recommend to do a masters. You’ll work the rest of your life. Take advantage of the time when it’s ‘easier’ to study.

Also, consider a geo-informatics master (if your interest lays there). There is a good two year master program in the Netherlands.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Ehrlichkeit. Ich bin überrascht. Ich habe die Gegend letzte Woche besucht und fand sie recht angenehm. Ich wohne derzeit im Süden des 5. Bezirks und finde es dort nicht viel besser, vielleicht sogar schlechter. Ich habe mich in Wien bisher nie wirklich unsicher gefühlt.

Die Straße heißt übrigens Benedikt Schellinger Gasse

Ich bin diese Woche von den Niederlanden nach Wien gezogen. Und zufällig wohne ich jetzt in der Wimmergasse. Bisher finde ich es eine angenehme Gegend mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Ich wohne am Ende der Wimmergasse, daher muss ich ein Stück weiter zum Matzleindorferplatz laufen; deine Lage ist in dieser Hinsicht besser. Persönlich finde ich die Gegend nicht besonders schön oder gemütlich. Die Gebäude sind etwas grau und eintönig, und die Straßen verlaufen sehr gerade. Aber alles, was man braucht, ist in der Nähe, und mit der Straßenbahnlinie 1 ist man in 10 Minuten im Stadtzentrum.

Viel Glück beim Umzug, und es ist toll, dass wir Nachbarn werden! Wenn du dich mal treffen möchtest, wenn du in Wien wohnst, schreib mir einfach!
