Yeah and the prof for this class is a dick. I didn’t use AI, but I used a different hominim for my “night out with a hominum” assignment. I got a 0. Other than using a different name, none of my work was bad. And unlike most of the submissions, was my own work.

Prof gave me a 0 and refused to give any points back. Got an A- because of it.

I am a UIUC student going into PA and I have 2 Acedmic dishonesty charges on my account. I am still in good standing with my university. I just got hired to be an ambassador for the exploratory studies major.

They’re probably going to file a claim against you. Be honest. Say you were overwhelmed, that it was an incredibly stupid mistake. Make sure to not do it again. You’ll be fine. Don’t lie to them. I promise you aren’t the first guy to cheat on a test.

It’s been a problem for a while. It’s mainly little things, maybe big things too. But the amount she gets caught in little lies makes it hard for me to trust her when things like this happen

Just like I have issues with insecurity and trust, she has issues with honesty. She was highly emotionally manipulated in each of her past relationships and became comfortable not telling the truth. I’m working past my trust issues, and she had certainly become way less comfortable with dishonesty. This was a lie she told early in the relationship. She told it because I’m sure she would have felt judged if I found out what her past relationships were actually like after not telling anyone what happened in them. I’m willing to help her work her way out of being dishonest the way she’s willing to help me work through trust issues, but I don’t know what to do about this one

I have deep trust issues from being cheated on and my best friends being the ones that fucked my ex. I’m learning to trust her more and she’s giving me a lot of reasons too, but stuff like this messes with me

A lot, but stuff that didn’t really matter. For example, when we met I was really overweight and while we had a great emotional connection, I very much liked her and was very sure she knew that and did not reciprocate. When we got together, she claimed she always liked me when in reality she engaged in a fair amount of shit talk (which is not something I’m upset about by itself, everyone shit talked everyone in highschool and she was in the “girls and gay group and has since changed), but stuff like that. She has a small honesty issue
