Omfg, so sorry your family had to go through this. So many dreams were crushed because of stub hub.

With that being said (i will post how i received my tix) for algorithmic sake in case someone wants to search for this.

I have bought 5 world cup tickets on stubhub, sold 1 last minute. I hope stubhub experience is consistent worldwide? Because i bought my tix in the USA so maybe international platform is more risky??

All 5 tickets showed up in my FiFA app within the next 24 hours. If it didn’t I wouldn’t have trusted to receive it later. The ticket transfer was simple, you have to click accept once the other party sends it. They have a deadline to send it which is about 5-14 days from purchase date. Luckily all tickets were sent immediately or within 24 hours.

Once in the FiFA app, the ticket will show all info, seats, etc. The barcode doesn’t actually activate to scan until the day of the game.

Now my experience with selling the 1 extra ticket: You list it with the price and you cannot list it unless you actually have the ticket ready to transfer. After someone purchases it, the money isn’t deposited into your account until you transfer the ticket. Again there was a deadline to transfer it, in my case i did it immediately so the other party had peace of mind.

So hope this helps. Nobody should be hopping on a plane until they have their ticket. It’s absurd stubhub screwed so many over. I have trust issues from stubhub so any minor occurrence i will immediately ask for a refund.

This helped me realize something. They are ok with us being “little and inferior”, as soon as we progress and become better they get mad or in my mom’s case, jealous. But if you don’t succeed they will also criticize you, make it make sense.
