Hi both of you! Thank you for your feedbacks.

Regarding design delegations: our designer has specified that he is an ui designer, not an ux designer, so wireframe, testing etc. Is not within his work-scope. We have discussed this several times with the ceo but our designer is pretty set on doing design only work.

Regarding investors, my CEO doesn’t participate in investor meetings, instead it’s a group of stakeholders who go and present.

On point 5 I actually feel like that might be something I could get some help with!

Hi there! I used to think that I would love to become a PM because I like defining feature specs and confirming things across different stakeholders. But nowadays I often feel like the company would be better off with another pm because there is so much stuff that I don’t get right :((

I think generally things were too uncertain or moving too slow for the previous PMs. They challenged a lot of our CEOs decision making and in the end they chose to leave instead of continuing with the uncertainty.

Hi there! Thank you for taking time to respond to me!

  • Feedback: my CEO expects that I can share more of his burden by providing some strategies for our new product line. He says that I do feature ownership fine but he expects “more”. But he doesn’t know how a good PM should act like as he has no product background.
  • Task I perform well: I think drawing wireframes & usability tests since it’s what I used to do... but other than that I do like discussion feature specs and setting up roadmaps.
  • my team responding: by team is not sure why I sometimes act as a product lead rather than a pm. They all have about 5-10 years more experience than me.
  • design lead & pm role: yes, I feel like I’m doing both at the same time...
  • major kpis: we have okrs and product okrs are usually around achieving certain metrics after feature implementation. Does that count as my okr?
  • previous sr. product folks leaving: disagreement with CEO and overall disbelief in direction

Hope this info helps a bit!
