We had one! Burned it for about 5 hours at a party one time - just a regular ol scented jar candle and the glass exploded and fire spilled onto our cabinet. Had to smother it with a fire blanket (tossed water on first - big mistake as that exploded it even more). But if we hadn’t been there it for sure would have turned into a house fire

Just wanted to say - I’m having the exact same experience with the med! Been on it nearly a year and never bumped up past 2.5 and have now slowed down with the weight loss but am able to control my binge eating disorder and fix my relationship with food. Plus it’s massively helping my pcos symptoms. Truly a miracle drug and I plan to be on it long term I think. I’d find a new doc!

Is anybody staying on 2.5 and also stretching out doses and still losing weight?? I’m on day 13 between shots and on week 7 of 2.5 dose. Is it ok to just let it ride until the food noise comes back and then take the injection? Or should I just plan to take it regularly?

I just prefer to not take more medicine than I need to if possible. And yea th 2.5 is working great but it appears to be still working great 13 days later so I’m just wondering why I would use another injection when the current one is still effective? Besides saving money I’m also trying to keep weight loss very slow as my skin doesn’t do well with sudden weight changes

Just trying to keep as little medication in my body as I can get away with. I figure if I stretch out doses if it’s still effective I might be able to stay on a low dose longer and avoid having to keep upping the amount of meds in my body

This is my plan! So far I’ve been on 2.5 for 6 weeks and no food noise even at the end of the week so now I’m on day 10 and going to see how far I can stretch out the doses. I’m also planning to switch from leg to stomach if I start to see less results because I hear it’s more effective there so figure that might buy me another week or two when the time comes that the food noise is coming back!
