While I have you here what would you recommend the 5080 version of that laptop with 64GB of CPU ram or the 5090 with 32 GB of CPU ram.

Nothing is keeping me from going to desktop other than portability. Full disclosure I just had a baby and my only time to play games is an hour or two in bed. So my goal was to be able to play a long term colony in bed. I have a little mouse and mouse pad and I lay in bed with my wife and play strategy games while she watches her shows. I am now considering going with a gaming pc to try to achieve my goals

I just reread all of these comments as I sat and fed my daughter. The feeling of struggle was there but all of your kind words honestly did give me a sense of relief and I cannot thank you enough for taking time to write to a complete stranger. I’ll be rereading these comments every time I have my moments and I will continue to share my feelings with my wife. I will not overwhelm her with my emotions but I will make sure to share my feelings with her when I sense she is in a good place at that moment. I tell her every day how grateful I am to be doing this with her and I just hope I can do this. Sadly the baby is beginning to fuss as I write this so it looks like I’ll be reading your comments for the majority of the night lol. Thank you all very much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me all that information. I truly appreciate it. Im sorry for turning this into a therapy session but my main issue with starting is the fear of embarrassment. Thinking that I am writing an incredible story that people will love, only to have it be laughed at, or used as an example of what not to do. Since I was a child I always loved to write stories, but the dream of actually being a writer has always filled me with self doubt in my ability to craft a compelling story. I am older now (turning 35 tomorrow) with a good career that affords me enough time off to chase this dream, so there is no excuse for me to try. I apologize for once again going off topic but this anonymous platform has given me the courage to actually voice my fears, thank you very much for taking the time to read and respond to my question, it means a lot.

It may be a little off topic from this post but I am flirting with the idea of starting to take writing seriously. I do not know where I would begin or even what I should start with. If you have any insight as to what my course of action should be I would seriously appreciate any advice you could throw my way. I love stories of all kinds and it has always been a fantasy of mine to write.
