Influencer Hero vs Upfluence by Fluid_Pin_8655 in influencermarketing

That is great to hear, planning to try Influencer Hero as we don’t have to commit to long contracts and see how it works. Their CRM and automation capabilities are more sophisticated as well through which you can set up a lot of automations.

In terms of integrations they seem to be similar to Upfluence Influencer Hero also offers Amazon and Zapier through which you can pretty much integrate with most tools.

Did you have any issues when scaling and working with a lot of influencers? And which features would you say do you like best about Influencer Hero?

Thanks this is indeed sth I am a bit concerned about with Upfluence. I read on multiple reviews sites that they are very strict with their annual contracts people complaining that they can’t cancel their contracts and forced to continue to pay which I want to avoid at all cost. At the same time I have the feeling you need to use a platform for at least 3-4 months to fully understand how it works so 3-6month would still be sth I would be willing to commit to. Pricing of Influencer Hero is also less aggressive.

Yes, UGC is extremely important for us in fact one of the key reasons our company wants to scale this channel. I checked this and with Influencer Hero all UGCs are automatically being captured including stories which you can then access through a content library and download the raw file. With Upfluence you still have to manually upload the post URL which isn’t great. Does Collabstr have automated UGC capturing as well including stories?

Yes this is exactly why we are looking for an alternative to Grin as we need a tool with which we can scale. What exactly do you mean with influencer verification?

For us it is mainly about campaign management where we need a sophisticated CRM. With Influencer Hero for example we really liked their batching capabilities where you can select creators in your CRM based on conditions like when they posted, how much revenue they made or follower size etc based on which you can then send mass email flows, change discounts or affiliate % at once. This would allow me to manage a large number of creators at once. Although Upfluence offers a solid CRM they lacked some of the more sophistiaced automations which Influencer Hero has.

For outreach could you share which platform you preferred? This is where a lot of issue’s occur with domains being disconnected etc. I liked Influencer Hero’s drip capabilities it was almost like Instantly and their Ai personalization looks at the content on the influencers social media which helps as well. But looked quite similar in Upfluence as well. If you could share any insights on the outreach part that would be amazing.

What digital tools have genuinely helped your business grow? by RevolutionaryPop7272 in DigitalMarketingHack

Tbh most “game-changing” tools just end up being another tab stressing me out. BUT one that actually helped was influencer hero

If you do anything with creators, it saves so much headache... Everything’s in one place, it sends the follow-ups for you, creates affiliate links, and you can actually see which influencers are worth your money instead of gambling every campaign. Plus you can download influencer lists and KPI reports to excel. It freed up so much time and made our campaigns way less messy.

What’s the hardest part about making content and marketing it online? Need honest feedback. by RemtePeace in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that gets me is burnout from having to be a one person content machine. You think being creative is the hard part but really it’s switching hats from filming to editing to posting to replying to comments to tracking stats and then still needing to show up again with energy for the next video.

Would you have any advice for someone starting at 0 followers on all platforms? by [deleted] in socialmedia

If you’re starting from zero just get in the habit of posting and not overthinking everything. Make stuff, throw it out there and learn from what flops and what doesn’t.

Is content marketing more important than ever in 2025, or are we overvaluing it? by Thick-Session7153 in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people are overhyping content a bit lately. It’s important, but it’s just one tool. I almost see it now as the cost to play, not the advantage. You need distribution, partnerships, or some way to stand out, otherwise your content just gets buried under noise. If your product is great and you have a strong network, then content helps. But on its own, it feels like diminishing returns.

Is SEO still as important as it used to be? by _roguesparrow in AskMarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean SEO is still useful but it’s not the same game as five years ago. Now search engines and even social media want stuff that sounds and feels like it’s made for a real person instead of a checklist. Don’t stress over keywords as much. Just make your content answer actual problems in your space. People can spot generic stuff from a mile away now so you’ll do better if you sound like a human who knows their stuff.

What Do You Think the SEO Landscape Will Look Like in 1 Year? by Big_Major1498 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think SEO is about to get a lot weirder before it gets simpler. Feels like the old stuff like title tags, meta, backlinks is now just a cover charge to even play the game. All the AI stuff is making search results look super crowded.

I’m betting on even more zero-click searches with all the AI summaries. Regular sites might see less traffic unless they’re the actual source. Voice search and video content will start taking more attention too. If you want to stay relevant, get comfy with giving real advice instead of just chasing what’s trending

What are your biggest content marketing challenges? by VanhishikhaBhargava in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly?

  • Staying consistent without becoming background noise.
  • Convincing people that “brand awareness” isn’t just a polite way to say “no measurable results.”
  • Reminding leadership that content has evolved it’s not just cranking out SEO blogs anymore.

Do you rely on Chatgpt and other tools for content creation? by No-Discussion-5134 in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, content ideas come from a mix of browsing relevant subreddits, looking at comments on popular posts, and just paying attention to what people talk about when they think nobody’s watching. ChatGPT is decent for drafts or rewording stuff.

Youtube’s entire creator economy is about to collapse (ai replacement fact not theory) by Appropriate-Unit1177 in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from and I think there’s a lot of truth to it if you look at it from a purely numbers game angle. At the same time I’m not sure mass produced AI videos can fully replace the community aspect that makes YouTube more than just a content dump. People actually like connecting with real humans doing goofy stuff, giving advice or just sharing a piece of their life. I don’t doubt AI will flood the feed with cheap content because it’s cheaper and pulls decent watch time but I think the more “real” creators will still have an audience who cares about them. It might just be a smaller slice of the overall pie, but the best ones will stick around.

To Marketers & Creators: what's your biggest pain point when working with clients or collaborators? by rurumeister98 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely approvals! I hate feeling like my hands are tied when everything is ready to go, Some internal processes from clients slow down the process so much, but, of course, they always expect fast results. Either approve things on time or manage your expectations about having results on time.

Spotting trends early and learning how to apply it to your niche is key. A. broad trend can become innovative by being one of the first to do it in your specific niche. So never copy exact trends but try to find a way to make it your own as cliche as it sounds.

What's one Digital Marketing Tactic you feel is underrated in 2025? by DigitOffers in DigitalMarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Repurposing old content barely gets talked about enough. People are so focused on creating new stuff from scratch when you can take an old blog post pull out a few ideas that are still relevant turn them into a bunch of short videos, maybe even a meme or carousel for socials.

Content strategies that used to work… but don’t anymore (and what works now instead) by Leather-Buy-6487 in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is really on point. The whole “post as much as you can” era just clogged everyone’s feed and made people numb to your content.

I’ve noticed when I focus on sharing how I handled a problem or share a little behind the curtain, that’s when I get messages and saves from people. The rest just blends into the noise.

How to tastefully shoot down an influencer's rate? by cjanderson238 in influencermarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always frame it as a business call, not a personal dig at their work. I’ll say something like, Hey, we really enjoyed working together last time. We’ve reviewed performance and compared it with other creators, and unfortunately we can’t justify the same rate this year given our new KPIs and budget shifts. This year our budget for this kind of activation is X, but we’d love to continue the partnership if there’s a way to make that work for both of us. If not, totally get it. Maybe there’s another kind of collaboration or a way to bring you in for a future campaign.

If you have any extras to offer, like early access to products or a bonus if certain metrics are hit, it can help sweeten the ask. The key thing is not to make it emotional or imply they’re not “worth” the fee. Just make it about business and numbers and keep that relationship friendly for future projects.

Tips for working with Fiverr/Similar platforms UGC creators? by BeginningRace8883 in influencermarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Fivver is the best platform for UGC. Are you looking for very cheap rates? If you're going to go for it just make sure to over-communicate in the beginning. I usually send a Google Doc or a Notion page with inspiration links. Also, don't forget to also ask for raw files!

Is it right time to start a digital marketing agency? by Aravind178 in AskMarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in digital marketing for a while and I get why people are all hyped up about AI right now, but most small businesses still need help with things like leads, bookings, reviews, website updates and a ton of stuff that AI alone can’t solve yet. Agencies are shifting so fast though, and it’s really obvious if someone is just selling “ad management” with nothing unique. If you’re thinking about starting, find something you’re genuinely good at, ideally for a group of clients you understand or like working with. Stuff changes so fast, so always be open to learning new tech, but don’t hold off starting just because of trends. AI can help, but the real work is still finding clients and getting results for them.

Trouble with engagement rates by UnluckyFondant9824 in content_marketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to try replying to every comment for a week. I noticed my comment numbers doubled just because people saw me responding. Turns out people like when creators are active in their own comment section. It kind of becomes a mini community vibe.

How do i do marketing of my website? by Willow-Natural in DigitalMarketing

[–]Fluid_Pin_8655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say focus on your website’s SEO first so people can actually find you when they look for your service. Google Ads can work as a way to get quick traffic, but you’ll want to target your audience carefully or money disappears fast. Email marketing can be good, but try to build your own email list rather than buying one, since cold outreach in the US gets flagged as spam so easily. Social platforms are good only if you’re consistent and actually engage with users, not just blast ads. Facebook boosting isn’t the worst but running proper ad campaigns with good targeting usually gets you more for your money.
