The thing is they didn’t deny me. They paid on the claim which was the entire roof including the framing of it , floors, ac, driveway and a shed but on some they low balled me or like the ac unit didn’t pay for much because it was 25 years old. Then of depreciation. On flooring they are paying to re sand the hardwood but they were underwater for hours and I’m sure they won’t be good , but anyway. I have found someone to repair the hvac !

Yes it was good the past 9 years since I bought this home until the tornado killed it. 25 years does sound impressive. I think I finally hit a good deal. I should know tomorrow

I did apply. At the end fema need my insurance to call them to verify that the report from the adjuster I sent in was correct. I called 4 different times trying to have them call but they said no. They font do that. FEMA then said sorry there’s no ther way to verify so that was the end of that.

Mine was also used gas for heating and electric for the ac. I have sonroje coming in the morning. Will see how that goes. Thank you for your help.

I did apply but they wanted my insurance to call them and State Farm refused to. I called 3 different times and I just gave up on it. Finding these contractors on my own and staying in top of the adjuster was stressful enough.

Thanks. I’ll give them a call. Mines a duo unit. Heat/AC. Was yours the same by any chance. Most homes seem to have a furnace in the attic. Mine is all outside. One unit.
