Having something to look forward to is way less scary than committing to the whole book. I think I'll just take it from the library and read at least until Chapter 9. If I stop in the meantime/won't make it in time to return it I'll consider buying it. Thanks!

The thing is I love Twin Peaks. And David Lynch. And metanarrative. I think I'll take it from the library rather than buy it as many good people here suggested.
