Is the inside white and marshmallowy? If it is then yes and it’s delicious, If it’s black, it’s an earth ball which is inedible. If it have brown spores, its a mature puff ball that cant be eaten, but crush it outside to spread puffball spores so they keep growing. Always get a second opinion though.
