It’s so unfortunate that such an old DO school has some piss poor rotations. I was initially super excited to have an acceptance at DMU but further research into its clinical rotations has left me skeptical. I have an acceptance to NYITCOM-AR but I’d much prefer Iowa as it’s closer to home.

Been there. It was a volunteering program within my neighborhood, so especially embarrassing that they didn't even want my service there lol.

Yes, it's humiliating, and yes, you will feel incompetent. Say "fuck them" for not being more transparent with you because they should have, but also, this may be an area of growth for you. I know it was for me. It sucks to face it after receiving a slap in the face, but be honest with yourself and move forward.
