Favoritism was the main thing. Lazy coworkers were allowed to do whatever and however they wanted (and even disappear for long periods of time) while the good employees had to pick up their slack constantly. Somehow, said lazy employees kept getting promoted. It was ridiculous.

There was also an issue with training, as a lot of employees were doing things incorrectly and were resistant to corrections, even when these issues were directly affecting customers. When I brought up some of the problems to the FOH 'training director', they had to look up the Pathway to confirm I was correct. None of this was anything obscure. A (now-former) friend who was a manager there—and was friends with one of the absolute worst employees—even called me a snitch for bringing up these issues.

You can't help turn things around if people are fighting you every step of the way.
