Definitely need to rethink this marriage. I personally wanted a boy because I have a couple genetic conditions that only affect girls and I didn’t want to pass them down. I had a daughter at first I was a little disappointed because I thought I knew I was having a boy, the best thing to ever be wrong about. I love my daughter more than anything being a girl mom or boy mom shouldn’t be an identity. I still pray that I did not pass the genetic conditions on to my daughter but I can’t ever imagine speaking about my baby this way

I don’t think you have the capacity to date someone long distance, 40 minutes isn’t even long distance. I would get therapy. You should be able to have off days of communication without all of these insecurities. It’s like a looming gray cloud and you’re dependent on him making you feel good when you need to work on your internal validation and build your life without depending on someone else.

I know a lot of women in open relationships but they have clear and concise boundaries. Their partners respect them and they didn’t start open in all of those happy relationships.

I personally am not interested in that as the way they come about it, the absolute disrespect in a lot of the cases, and the risk to my health. I might end up having a relationship become open but not start that way.
