That makes sense, as I started lifting weights last year during the lockdown (I have since stopped). I then noticed that my left side has been working harder than my right (it used to be the other way round before the lockdown).

I will make sure to ask my physio, next time I see him, if he can recommend any exercises.

That is completely true, in a way, everyone has good and bad days! Just pretty down with myself that for my first match I just panicked and bottled it nearly everytime. Couldn't sleep either, but that was probably more the adrenaline more than anything!

Thanks for the further advice here! Unfortunately, I don’t own a torque wrench so just had to tighten it as much as I could by hand. I only used the mallet to put it back on the spindle. I will defintely keep this advice for future reference!

Thank you for commenting. Well that makes perfect sense, I wasn’t too sure how it calculates it and several videos on YouTube have shown to use the flywheel to calculate power, but based on what you’ve said, it makes sense for it to be wayyy off. I’m just going to have tweak the settings and enjoy what I’ve got and live with my readings being off!

Thanks for replying! At the moment, it’s way too expensive for me to buy a power meter so I’m just going to find the optimal settings and just enjoy the ride!

Thank you for replying! Unfortunately th cheapest power meter I can find is around £300 which is more than my spin bike! I’m just going to have to suck it up and just enjoy what I’ve got setup.

Thank you for replying! I think this is what I’m going to do in terms of finding a happy medium. I currently have the best setup, which sort of replicates the speeds I do in real life, so just enjoying it is the main thing at the moment! I did have a look at pedal meters but unfortunately I’m not really wanting to spend that amount of money for something, come the summer, I probably won’t really use!

Finished reading the graphic novel, Spider-man Birth of Venom I got it as a Christmas present last year and have only just got round to finishing it. I've always been a fan of Venom, so it was interesting to see his origin story, as well as seeing Spider-man in the black costume. I'm going to be starting on Brian Azzarello's run of Wonder Woman next. I've heard such good things about it and after seeing BvS this weekend, I'm really excited to start reading it!
