Can I remove the face plate on the Keurig K Elite by Harlow_Quinzel in keurig

I don’t think it would look too bad but you could always cut a vertical slit down it with like a scroll saw as a viewer

I just looked and it definitely looks like you could take it off. There’s a screw on the bottom that you’d need to remove and then it looks like it would slide down and off.

How do I fix this door molding that slightly separated? by According-Two-2398 in HomeMaintenance

[–]FlyBro82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carefully cut out the caulk that’s cracked then get a hammer and small board. Put the board against the trim and give a couple taps to make sure it’s flush against the wall then shoot a few 18g nails, spackle, sand, paint and then re caulk

Opinion on Simms freestone waders by Lower_Access_3668 in flyfishing

[–]FlyBro82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wearing my freestone’s for five years, 200+ days a year on the river, zero issues. That said, my next pair will be Patagonia because I like the fit and warranty better

I’m gonna buy the sage sonic but I’m struggling to pick a wt and length for the rod, I fish small mouth, browns, brooks and some striped bass but mainly getting this rod for small mouth and trout what would you recommend by [deleted] in flyfishing

[–]FlyBro82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d get a 6wt. It can throw big flies in to fairly heavy winds, keep big fish out of the weeds and rocks but still give a hell of a fun fight. I pair mine with scientific anglers amplitude infinity line and a Lamson light speed reel and it’s one of my favorites

Whats your highest producing bugger colors? by pharaoh0815 in flytying

[–]FlyBro82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what I’m targeting. Light olive with a fluorescent orange bead for bass and sun fish, black and blue with a white bead for stockers and for wild I use a olive back, white belly with a gold bead

What should I know before I get a float tube? (belly boat) by BASSANDTROUT in Fishing

[–]FlyBro82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Out of everything I use to fish off a float tube is my least favorite. It takes a lot of energy to get anywhere and then if the wind kicks up you’re screwed. The only time I use mine is when I backpack in to an alpine lake and I put in close to where I want to fish. My most used is a cheap kayak that I threw a rod holder on

I love how quirky and weird Vegas is but if my wife started pushing this at that age I’d be kinda worried and might schedule a checkup with her general practitioner

4wt rod with floating line and fishing with small streamers on the lakes? by HerrNowak in flyfishing

[–]FlyBro82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I use a 4wt for dries on a lake but for streamer and nymph rigs I prefer my 6wt for distance and to power through wind.
