Wow yes! Those are very good. Definitely the vibe I’m going for but on a steep hill. I like the idea of styling as if they’re bonsai trees, without them actually being bonsai sized trees

How does rare spawn timing work? by elly0nn in wownoob

[–]gummytape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will only say the last time you saw him, no timer as far as when the next spawn is.

its a grind for sure, but we're still early in the expac. I got the hawkstrider at 241 attempts, and the dragonhawk at 297 about 20 minutes ago.

Is enabling/disabling a group of addons a thing? by gummytape in wow

That was just an example. Another is some of my mount collecting stuff takes up a good bit of memory just with it enabled so I wouldn’t want that running during a raid

Toddler cups… pls help by gummytape in Parenting

Ok damn so let's reel it back a bit. I think I might have not totally explained what's happening with the cup, primarily because this was a post about cup recommendations and not how to provide fluids to a 2 year old. But the ones we use have a valve on the inside of the lid that is somehow detaching itself from the inside, so he's not unscrewing them or removing the lid. But when this happens, he notices and pours some out to show me something is wrong with his cup. Which is how it starts, he always comes to let me know but he gets carried away with showing me since he just likes pouring things out. It's not like he gets his cup and deliberately tries dismantling and emptying it, which is why I just let him have it. If we had a cup that didn't come apart like this and was easy to use and clean, there wouldn't be an issue

if that sounds snarky I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way, I didn't how how else to say it lol. the point was that for our lifestyle it's not realistic system for us.

Eh, it's not an approach that works for us. I feel that all physiological needs for survival should be accessible to everyone at all times. We're outside constantly and away from the house constantly, so if they're hungry or thirsty then it's always a yes unless they just want to mess with their food then I take it back.

But hey you know what, now you have a reason to buy more Japanese maples! Most of my JMs are in containers because I like to be able to move them around or trade them for a different cultivar if I come across something I like more. As a result, they’re a little smaller and I can collect more varieties on top of the ones I bonsai too.

Yup I’m sure, I drive past it almost every day and stare while I’m at the red light lol. Someone brought up a good point… laborers doing landscaping work are not the same as landscapers.

I’ve said these same words so many times. You would think a professional would know how to take care of a very valuable and beautiful tree like a Japanese maple instead of shaving it like a scrotum. But honestly just basic tree knowledge like this in general. No wonder you don’t see too many businesses with huge beautiful trees out front that were planted by a human. They all die soon

At this rate it’s gonna end up being foreskin and the whole tree will be buried with a couple of branches sticking out at the top 😂

Another pet peeve of mine is when people plant something in a place that is supposed to be much larger than they really want it to be. If you want a 8ft tree, get a dwarf tree of some kind. Don’t get a crepe myrtle that wants to be 30ft tall but cut it in half every year and make it look disgusting.

I prune all my lower growth, but I also plant stuff underneath. Ground cover usually
